ohan was so happy for his husband. thanks to the nice royalties, he was even able to take some time off work to spend with his family. he squeezed zero’s hand and told him, “it’s perfect, baby.” he kisses zero’s cheek and laced his fingers with zero’s and pulled him through the house. he looked around and still couldn’t believe this place was theirs. “i love it so much,” he wrapped his arms around zero’s waist, “and i love you, too. you made all of this possible.” the trucks and movers were on their way. thank god, they could afford it because they didn’t really have very many people to help them move. and for the move day, their moms were watching the kids.
while zero initially prided himself on this being his first ‘adult’ purchase, and that he’d finally felt like a proper father that could provide for his ever-growing family, he couldn’t keep from running around the new home with a childlike enthusiasm--- he tugged ohan through each room, and it dawned on him that he’d never actually owned anything this large before, the snyder household was small and cramped, and ohan’s home was large and pristine - he hoped this could fall into a happy medium, as his easygoing personality always tended to be. while they still could savor a few moments without the moving team, zero kept a tight hold on his husband. “this could be pearl’s room, and the twins can share the one next to it,” he murmured, eventually traipsing into a larger room with an impeccable view of the sea. “and this is all ours. you’ll get to wake up to that every morning. isn’t it brilliant, love?”
