“Awful, then the castle gates were never open and when they did Elsa got accepted here and so did I. I’d never been to happy to leave in my whole life. So, now I’m a soon to be therapist with a sister who still rarely talks to me.”
castle? he questioned silently, eyeing the girl before him with sympathy and suspect. “ your sister must have her reasons. i should hope she comes around sooner than later. being so alone is unhealthy... if you ever need a shoulder, or just someone who understands what it’s like slightly, i can be here for you. ”

“When i was younger, my parents died and then later on my sister shut me out, I still to this day don’t know why. I try to talk to her as much as I can but, she still pushes me away.. I couldn’t imagine having anyone else feel that way ever,” anna said, looking down at the group then back up at the man sniffling.
“ that’s awful. ” a frown was prominent on his features, but now hans knew what role to play. “ i can’t imagine what that must have been like for you. ” he cleared his throat, as if to stop himself from choking up.

“I don’t know, life is weird. Maybe you know Roy from Elementary, and if you did I probably wouldn’t like you very much because Roy used to pinch me and steal my crayons.” Red’s eyes light up when she realized what he was talking about. “Oh! Yeah I know where that is. I can show you where to go.”
“ the world would be small, if that were the case. but i would never associate myself with a boy that steals crayons from a sweet girl, so i am glad i do not. ” a smile came to his face. “ oh you do? that would be amazing. thank you. ”

anna paused and sighed, “I know what it’s like to feel alone and feeling like no ones there for you and I never want anyone to feel that way, please let me help you.”
the male gasped sadly, his reaction genuine even though it was false to his knowledge. “ you do? ” he asked, seeming to find it comforting and difficult, to learn somebody shared experiences with himself. “ i always thought i was the only one. ”

hans perked a brow. “ you seem to enjoy that thought. for my sake, i hope not --- but for your entertainment, if somebody has, i'll be sure to let you know. ”

“Dorms, huh. No,- I mean, yeah I go here, but I live in Marceline in Souhait Hall, so I didn’t really pay attention to the other set of dorms. I at least know where Rever Hall is, but I don’t know which one’s Roy Oliver.”
“ how many are there in rever? if you could perhaps, by any chance, set me on my merry way to rever, working out which is roy oliver will--- just have to be time i spend walking around. ”

hans was unsure of the angle he had to play for this girl, but it seemed his comment had hit a sort of nerve or pitifulness in the girl. “ no, you couldn’t possibly want to hear about that. ”

“ it might not be a new to your knowledge... but, fun fact: i find you very exquisite. ”

She turned her head slightly and lowered her eyes from his toe to his face. “No.” she spoke around her cigarette. “Asking for directions is such a cliche introduction. Find something better than I’ll consider it.”
ignorance stumbled through devilish grin in a bout of short and sarcastic laughter. “ oh ho--- why would i want to find something better, when cliche works so well? i really do need directions. ”
