they had to be quiet, which would be a slight issue for pepper, she was always one to be on the louder end of the spectrum. and it wasn’t helping that he was kissing all the right spots. another stifled whimper was released as his kisses became more urgent, just how she liked it. she wanted him to leave his mark on her, give her something to remember for the time being until they connected more intimately once more. as he slid down her bikini bottoms she felt her knees buckle as the cooler air brushed against her wet labias. another smile graced her lips as she turned facing the wall, him behind her as she pressed against it moving her cover up to the side giving him all the access he needed.

pepper didn’t know just how much time she had to spare before he decided to make his appearance. therefore she rushed when it came to prepping. her once tied back ginger hair was released from an elastic making her shake her naturally waved locks to form around her round face. she glanced in the mirror and opened the cover up some so her white bikini showed...along with her toned featured. not an inch of extra weight on her bones. 

out of a nervous habit, her lower lip remained between a set of perfect pearly whites. nibbling her lower lip, she swapped positions a few times before settling on a stance with her hands on her slender hips. she didn’t know why but she was highly nervous...it had been a while since their last slip up and she couldn’t help but wonder if he’d be attracted to her still. inhaling deep, she jumped slightly hearing the door click then open. her eyes lit up as he came into view. suddenly, a confidence came over her as she blushed slightly. ‘ --- -- - about time you got in here...i thought you changed your mind... ‘

They were getting really close and that was what was most exciting about it. This break had gone on too long and that was obvious with each movement they shared. Her back arched, he bent himself forward even more. This was getting dangerously close to the point of no return. And it was the point of no return for them. It was hard not to follow the sweet softness of her lips as she pulled away, but it was probably for the best that she did. He looked down at her, trying to catch the breath he'd been forgetting about. Then she said it. The magical words that got them alone to continue to take this farther. "Yeah, definitely. I can sneak into the ladies' room to... help you with that. No one'll notice."

pepper thought she would be able to restrain, hold off until the night...but one kiss from Stark had her weak...so very weak. every urge she’d been fighting off for the past few months had flooded to the surface. as her body moved closer to his and with him pressing back she felt a chill ripple down her spine. she wanted him to take her right then and there, let him play her body like a foreign instrument that only he knew to play. she wanted to feel him press into her core while she responded with sweet moans beckoning for him to take her higher.

‘ — – - my one regret i’d say is not listening to my heart more. when it comes to tony, i ignore what my heart says out of fear. i get too much in my head constantly thinking about how things just won’t work and i end up hurting in the end. ‘ the ginger exhaled. ‘ if i just followed my heart i’d be so much happier…because he and i would just be together and i’d be able to just let myself love him…because i’m so in love with the man that is hurts in the most incredible way… ‘

He let a light laugh escape his lips when she repeated him. “There’s really nothing better to describe this place… or at least how I felt a few minutes ago,” he admitted. His mood was already lifting with her there even with the awkward break situation looming around them. “Of course I would. I’m an asshole, but I wouldn’t just leave you to deal with the shit I’d be leaving behind.” Because if he was taking a vacation like that, he’d be doing a lot of escaping and that would just leave a mess for her. And he’d miss her. It wouldn’t be a vacation without her there. It would just be isolation. It was all instinct, with her leaning closer, he leaned closer right along with her and when she placed her hand on his chest it felt right. He put his hand on hers. “Yeah… I said it second.” He looked at their hands before he looked back into her eyes. “Saying, but not really saying what we want to.”

‘ --- -- - what changed this new hell for you ?? ‘ she questioned, though apart of her knew what his answer would be. she just wanted to hear it, she needed to hear that she still brightened his world even if it was only a little bit. things were just so natural for them...made her question why they truly were on this break to begin with. ‘ you are an asshole, that’s for sure...but i wouldn’t have you any other way, especially when you have your charming moments. ‘ she commented. ‘ i can handle it...kind of...last time was a bit of a disaster, but i’m sure at this point i’d be fine...should you need another break. ‘ she rambled slightly. the warmth of his hand over hers made her melt slightly, her other hand moved to his torso as she felt her gaze shift to his lips then back to his striking hues. ‘ uh huh...’ she spoke a bit softer as the next question slipped. ‘ what do you really want to say ?? ... ‘

what's it like to be with tony stark?

‘ — – - it’s like going on a rollercoaster. there’s that thrill, that rush and excitement, the fear of something going wrong, the anxiousness, then the sadness you inevitably feel when it’s all over. in other words…it can be very amazing with the ups, tony is always doing something to show how he feels…each time bigger than the last. when he does things over the top he makes me feel kind of bad because i can’t give him something grand in return…but he claims that something as small as cooking a nice dinner is good enough. then on the down side…the lows aren’t the best…when we fight, we tend to let it fester sometimes which isn’t good…case and point…now for instance. we are on this silly break, have been for months now and truthfully i just want it to be over…but i won’t be the one to say it. in a nutshell…dating tony stark is incredible…but it’s also pretty faulty in it’s own way as well if that makes any sense… ‘

He knew that voice in an instant. That voice was buried in his soul and what she said to him was almost even predictable for her. Sure, anyone could comment on his sulking, but no one could do it with that grace. Normally he’d even defend himself, but he didn’t even want to with her. He looked up when she said she thought he left for good and he shook his head, but let her finish. He wouldn’t have done this to her… leaving without a trace, if he’d had the choice. He shook his head again and got to his feet. “I didn’t want to just disappear, Pepper, I promise. Honestly, this place is some sort of new hell I think… but regardless. If I’d just decided I needed some vacation, you’d know… be invited to join me because since we’re being honest, I care about you too much to not just disappear. I said it too…”

as he stood, her fingers flexed some as they remained by her sides. she wanted to touch him, make sure he was really there...that she wasn’t imagining him. her brows knitted together slightly as she looked into his eyes contemplating what to say. multiple times her lips parted as words dared to slip, but all that happened was...nothing. her heart fluttered and her stomach, filled to the brim with butterflies. ‘ --- -- - new hell ?? that explains a lot... ‘ she repeated with a small smile ghosting her lips. ‘ you’d invite me to your vacation ??... ‘ she asked her lips turning downwards slightly as she frowned slightly. she didn’t realize it, but she was leaning in closer, he was drawing her in like some sort of magnetic pull. ‘ i said it first... ‘ finally her hand rose to rest against his chest, just above where his heart would rest.
