Hey @taylorswift So Saturday my 3 year old dachshund Buster lost use of his hind legs. We rushed him to the emergency room where he got diagnosed with IVDD which is a disc disease in his back.

Surgery to fix would cost $7,000 so we are on the conservative treatment route that still costs $500. He’s on strict cage rest ands meds. I recently got laid off from my job as well so this is definitely a blow to us. Besides the initial $500 we expect there will be more costs (check up visits, more meds, a wheelchair if he doesn’t gain back use)

If you’ve ever met Buster you know how spunky, sweet, silly, loud, and full of life he is. Seeing him this way has my heart broken. He’s a good boy of acting like he’s not in pain but the vet said he’s probably in a lot.

Can you please keep him in your thoughts and prayers? My life is so stressful right now 😩
