With the new year just over 24 hours away (for me in Australia) I thought I’d quick fire post a couple of my favorite photos from 2018, whether they were personal favorites, meaningful moments, or just posts that you guys seemed to love, I’ll be throwing them up here over the next 24 hours. - First up is a post that acted as a catalyst for me creatively towards the end of this year, I had been incorporating photoshop a lot more into my editing workflow, but I never quite felt comfortable with really pushing my creativity, and rather stuck to simple sky replacements or cleaning of an image! But after spending a few hours one night editing this shot, I felt compelled to post it, not really knowing how you guys would respond! And to my luck, you guys absolutely loved it. I would like to think that I wouldn’t have remained intrinsically inspired, and kept going with compositing even if the response wasn’t as good, but I can comfortably say that you guys really gave me the freedom to get a little crazy with my edits towards the end of this year!
