Ok, so the anime hasn’t gotten far. Who knows how much is in store and how far with the plot they’ll actually go to. But I swear if the anime doesn’t let Frankenstein call M-21, Takio, Tao and Regis his kids,
I will flip

Knowing that Noblesse is now an anime I now await to see M-21 roast the hell out of people in the series~
🤦♀️ hahaahhaahahaaha
I am loving Crunchyroll Orginals: Noblesse
But I must say that there are a few things that are bugging me to no end:
Where the heck is Yuna...?
She was in the Noblesse Awakening OVA, but she’s not in the Crunchyroll Orginal Noblesse anime????? Sure Seo Yuna and Im Suyi aren’t the most important characters in the Webtoon, but they are part of the orginal high school kids group! They got in trouble with Shinwoo and Ik-Han all the time! She is Shinwoo’s love interest without them over complecating the genre. (Can I just say I love how romance is only ever hinted in the Webtoon) And yeah...Yuna had an odd crush on M-21, but I’d rather that be missing than Yuna and Suyi missing all together. I know it’s only a couple of episodes in, but it seems as if the two won’t be characters at all :(
Japan, not South Korea.
I guess I get it...? Like it’s an anime so set it in Japan. Like the setting isn’t making a huge difference to the anime (except are they gonna call the KSA the JSA when they get involved??). The OVA was still set in Korea, I don’t see why the setting had to change from Korea to Japan. It’s not like it’s unheard of to have an anime that isn’t set in Japan. Or would it have been insulting to Japan or South Korea if the Japanese anime of Noblesse (a manhwa) was set in South Korea?? 🤔 This issue also includes the name changes for Ik-Han and Shinwoo. I still can’t remember their now Japanese names.
Regis...
Regis K. Landegre.
You are too tiny to have such a deep voice. When I would read the Webtoon, I’d have a specific voice in my head for each character. For me, Ik-Han especially had a specific voice because I’d imagine his voice to be kinda cute and scratchy. Of course, these voices are in English for me. As for Regis, I’d imagine that since he spoke with such sophistication, his voice would be smooth and then rasp up a bit when he’d lose his cool bickering with M-21. I still cannot get used to Regis’s voice. Not that the VA is bad or is doing a bad job, I just feel like it doesn’t match Regis as a character or body build.
Please let me know if I may have perceived something wrong or if Crunchyroll ever said anything about the stuff I said above lol, I do enjoy the anime very much, but so far from the 4 episodes that I’ve seen, those three things above have been the most bugging issues I’ve had with the anime.
I hate the fact that there aren’t Yuna and Suyi, it bothers me a lot lol For Regis’ voice, I think it suits him. Regis is 200+ years old and even if he looks 17 like Shinwoo and Ik-han, we don’t have to forget that he’s way older and I think that this voice that sounds older than his look, suits him because I always saw Regis as that childish character that wants to be seen as the older and mature person.
And also, we know that Takeo isn’t korean, right? Because it was Tao teaching him korean. So, because of his name (Takio/Takeo) I always thought that he was japanese so...it is just a theory of mine, but still, if he really was japanese, does it make sense that he is in Japan and he’s japanese, but can’t talk his own language? If it was sure that Takio was japanese, it would be an awful mistake to make, but also, it’s still my theory so it doesn’t matter much.
Yeah, i have to keep telling myself that Regis is indeed much older. I know that, I get that, it just doesn’t make sense to have such a deep voice for his little body! Lol I guess, I’m still not over the shock of his voice because I just was not expecting that it would be so deep.
As for the Korean thing, I’m not talking about Takio. He’s not Korean because in the Webtoon he had a hard time in the beginning with some Korean words and inadvertently harassed Yuna by complementing her body when that wasn’t his intention. When I say Korea, I’m talking about the actual location of the anime. It’s set in Japan and not South Korea. I’m not too sure on Tao’s or Takio’s ethnicity, but I was speaking on the setting of the anime.

What do you think?
Does anyone else think Noblesse would make an amazing arcade style fighting game? I feel a game with Noblesse characters who you can control completely would be very fun.
I really do love the Super Smash Bros. play style because instead of the typical one on one arcade fighting games like Dead or Alive, it can have multiple people attacking simultaneously in game. Of course that isn’t a very noble thing to do, but it would make a game with these types of characters more fun I would imagine. And of course, it would have many characters, good and bad, in the game. Really thinking about it, it would have many, many characters for a game. I would also imagine the game to be more enjoyable if the health and defense are equal to everyone in game. I don’t really know how to describe it, but I imagine it would be in the same reasoning as the Dragon Ball Fighters Z game, Goku is supposed to be the most powerful, but he can still lose to weaker characters in game ...like Yamcha.
I would want more simpler characters, like Shinwu Han to be playable, but for how seriously strong the characters who actually fight in the story are, I imagine him to only be playable in story mode.
Realistically speaking, the protagonists would never purposely harm one another aside for training and Rai wouldn’t even be included in that, but to make a fun game, I would let it slide 😜
