i really like cittas storyline!! and i also really think blackstar fits well like

i am like 99% positive blackstar will get in a fight his first day and i am 80% positive that somewhere along his time in hive, hes gonna get the absolute shit beat out of him

and i think thats?? good? like i kind of asked hak about it and i decided i'd be rping the blackstar in the beginning of the anime/manga (idont?? really know which verse theyre kind of similar characterwise i think) before his character developed like in the baba yaga castle infiltration and his fight with mifune before he decided to follow his own path and started realizing that he wasn't gonna always be the best

and idk theres no mifune @ citta yet and i havent talked with kiddo-mun so like?? right off the bat there's no one blackstar can really learn from except himself

and i really like that because like! he'll start picking fights with the wrong people who are much stronger than him and because he's so used to winning all the time, sooner or later he's gonna realize that he cant be the best at everything and that he needs  to realize his faults and getting his ass kicked by characters from different universes will do the trick, i think

"i actually don't really know anything about you, do i?"

i frown a little, swiveling around on my chair to face her. she sits on top of my bed, scratching my dog gently behind her ears. "i don't know what makes me ashamed of you or what turns you on or what your hobbies are. i don't know what you're doing half the time and that kind of bothers me," i look straight at her, "is it that you're not opening up, or that i'm over thinking everything, or not paying attention to the finer details, or that i'm just an idiot?"

she smiles a little, but she still doesn't say anything, instead rubbing sunny's belly now. sunny's fur is getting all over my covers, but i don't say anything. i just want answers. "i know there's more to you than studying and silver and gold. i know you're more interesting than you come off to be. what am i missing? what am i doing wrong?" 

she looks at me now-- god, i don't even know how to explain it. it looks like sympathy and amusement and endearment and skepticism all rolled into one three second glance. i sigh loudly, turning in my seat towards the computer monitor once more. "y'know, i must be one dumb piece of shit if i can't even figure my own character out. you probably know more about me than i do about you."

"y'know, i was supposed to start up piano again this year."

crystal looks up from her place in my kitchen. she was watching something on the food network, i think. i put the last dish away and dry my hands, walking carefully into our family room (dining room? we just don't know) and examining my piano. it's dusty and untouched and the cover's down-- it's been down for a while, but it's still my piano and i still feel some attachment towards it.

she ventures over next to me, hands crossed behind her back, looking curiously at the piano. "i used to hate this piano," i laugh, "god, i hated practicing and playing those stupid piano book songs." she doesn't say anything, but she moves a little closer, wiping some dust off with her fingertip. "i regret quitting a lot now, though. i asked mom if i could start again and i even said i'd pay for lessons, but she never got back to me on them." 

"i used to hate piano too," crystal says softly, opening the cover and running her hands along the keys. "i miss it as well."

"did you like the songs you were assigned?"

"they were nice, i guess. i played them all without much struggle, but like i said before, it never sounded right." 

"if you were to start playing again, what would you play first?"

she giggles a little, "maybe something jazz?"

i laugh too. "gosh, i'd love to hear you play sometime."

"yeah, maybe i will, one of these days!"
