Ivan lets her, crouching down slightly to make it easier.

"I wonder who this could be!" He's just teasing, of course.

*She gave a giggle, covering his eyes.*

"I wonder who. I have a suprise for you, my dear."

"Oh? Well, whatever it is, I can't be any happier! I've already got my darling near me."

*She felt touched by that and gave a kiss on the cheek.*

"Let me lead the way. Your suprise is in the kitchen."

*She removed her hands from his eyes and took his hand, leading the way. The kitchen had all of Ivan's favorite meals cooked and ready on the counter, plus his favorite type of cake as well.*

"Tada! I cooked all of this for you."

"Oh, darling!" Ivan beams, smiling ear-to-ear. He places his hand gingerly above his heart. "You didn't have to! I had plans to do it myself."

He squeezes her hand affectionately, marvelling at the surprise she'd planned for him. For once, the chamberlain feels a happiness different from what his master had gifted long ago.

"You'll help me eat, won't you? Meals are much better when sharing."
