I know we didn’t talk much when you were with him. You didn’t talk to anybody much while you were with him. But I never got to tell you that I could tell you were so far gone from reality. You weren’t recognizable anymore. There was a period of time all you felt was bad and sad and you even stopped laughing at things. All he did was make you feel bad for being you and you weren’t even yourself because you tried so hard to be what he needed but you kept failing so it was this sick toxic cycle of two people who just didn’t love and understand eachother. But everyone could see that you guys tried.

I can be 5 and need attention

and 45 because I’ve spent the entire day at court, in class or tending to others.

And I need someone who can love me through all my motions

I know that’s a lot to ask from a person

To recognize my shifts and moods

To mirror them

So that’s why the man who does love me

needs to be able to do so naturally

Or else he will just burn out
