Although having DID is hard, it also means that for us, we never have to face the memories alone. Reliving them, navigating through them, surviving them. We do it together.

A short and silly comic since the last one was kinda intense :p

We always had issues trying to manage our salt intake and pots with our stomach issues. The salt tablets would make us sick. And the regular table salt would make us just as sick. And NOBODY told us that we could just eat pink Himalayan salt??? And it even tastes better??? Hello?

Since I spent SO long having stomach issues. I figured I’d share our go to drink mixture to help with our POTS. Hopefully someone will find this helpful and everyone else can just laugh at the silly pictures.

Concoction: 1-2 teaspoons of pink Himalayan salt + 32 oz hot water + pink lemonade powder/ your choice of liquid water flavoring. I recommend lemonade or fruit punch flavor. + 1-2 teaspoons of pickle juice ( if you are desperate ;p)

If it’s too salty, split the mixture in half so about 16oz and add 16oz of plain water. Also I’m a freak and will admit this, so I drink it warm. Maybe don’t do that your first attempt :’)

One of the softer and more enjoyable parts of having head friends is watching them heal and be able to provide comfort for each other in a way that you never really got as a kid. One of my ‘head-friends’ Clay, is basically like an older brother to a lot of us in the system. He’s also an emergency babysitter, since he does really well with some of our younger parts.

The funny part about being a guy whose whole job is to see and remember everything means that you basically turn into an item tracker. Especially when you all have unmedicated ADHD and heavy dissociation :’]
