his middle finger idly toyed with the corner of the page, a habit that ended up giving the books he read curly ends and was often frowned upon by his teachers. “Okay, um...” he searched the page for the starting point, finding it without too much difficulty.
thing is, ty was that kid. the one where, if the teacher called on him to read, everyone wanted to slowly tear their ears out because he read so slow. in all honesty, he was trying his best, but the poor kid sounded like he was trying to speak english and communicate in morse code at the same time.
