The plan
Well, the last time I tried to count calories, and it worked, but I am never going back to it. I became really too obsessed about food, cals, meal prep. Every time something unplanned would happened - someone who comes eating at home, ... - I would get mad. I don't want this anymore.
So, this time I will try to focus on eating healthy, quality food instead of just calories. I think it is a healthier and more sustainable mindset. Right now, my biggest problem is chocolate. I used to have one piece of dark chocolate everyday, and a lot more on special events. It was not totally ok, because some days I would really eat a TON of chocolate, but at least on basic, regular days I was satisfied with one piece. But since a few months, I am not even able to have only one piece. On the best days it's two on the worst it's ... I just stop counting. So I've decided to go cold turkey with it. No more chocolate on regular days. I'll try to have a piece of fruit instead, when I really crave it. I hope that in a few weeks, I'll only crave fruits !
Then, I am going to follow the Body by You program, written by Mark Lauren (he also wrote you are your own gym). It's a 12 weeks program and I have exactly 12 weeks left since the end of my school year. It's three 30 min strength workouts a week. You shouldn't have to do anything on top of this, but because I still have my gym membership, I'll go to the gym on days I ain't doing Body by You. So my workout schedule will vary a lot each week, but I will at least do my three strength training session a week.
So well, I guess that's it !
xx
