Some of our favourite Super Bowl ads - 2015.

Here in the UK, Christmas is our Superbowl. For advertising that is. Our agency have created our fair share of hits, from Monty the Penguin, Harvey Nicks ads to the Mulberry Puppy. However 'tis the season for the all American Super Bowl ads. Here are some of our favourite. We will update this list as more of the ads are available to view across the pond!

BMW - Newfangled Idea

It's amazing how they actually re-created the scene from the newsroom, and kudos to the duo for being able to make fun of themselves and have some fun as well!

Budwiser - Lost Dog

A heartwarming 'story' style ad. Very akin to the style of our John Lewis ads of pulling the heartstrings. Especially love the rendition of the song I'm Gonna Be by the Proclaimers.

Snickers - The Brady Bunch

A considerable amount of CGI and leg work done by our friends at The Mill to produce an amazing piece of work here. I recommend checking the behind the scenes to see a bit of their process.

Morphie - All-Powerless

An eery and surreal, apocalyptic scenario taking place. And you will know why. Production value is fantastic here!

No More - 911 Call

Popularised by a Reddit comment, and later picked up by Buzzfeed and many other websites, this story has been posted on Facebook walls and tweeted hundreds of times. It's chilling to see this reenacted in a TV ad. Chilling.

We do quite a bit of stop motion work at cain&abel. Seeing methods and processes inspire us, and this is rather interesting. Dillon Markey, an animator known for his work with Robot Chicken uses a modified Nintendo Power Globe in his work process, and surely, we do want one too!

Animation is almost a daily part of what do in our jobs. It's reassuring to know that principles used by Disney decades ago still apply to the work we do too.
