Star Wars starts hoppin and I miss this fabulous bitch.
Gonna be overhauling everything, bear with me, I’m hella Tumblr rusty.
But let’s definitely do things my friends. My smol fiter is ready.
The Emperor raised her to believe her Force abilities depended on him.
                           Luke showed her otherwise.
Indie Selective Mara Jade as told by Cassie. Est 3/2016. Promo credit.
Ok kiddos, like or reblog this for a starter. I will do these tonight, tomorrow and Tuesday while I figure out how to get this blog rebooted.
do you like deadly space assassins? do you like cute girls who can and probably will kill you with their mind? can you relate immensely to the feeling of being 5'3" and still wanting to fight darth vader with your bare hands? then give a like or reblog if you’re interested in interacting with an independent star wars oc—one of the emperor’s hands. selective, multi-everything, sideblog to @skywvlked . penned by darcy. primarily current canon-based with key legends elements.

weaponsdirector:
His mouth curves ever so slightly in a smile. “When is it ever?” he asks. They’ve never really been friendly, there’s never been any need for it. She’s a little too close to the Emperor for him to– trivialise.Â
“The weapons station has encountered its share of difficulties, of course,” he admits, “but I want to reassure you– and by extension, the Emperor– that we are making great progress.” He draws a holotape out of his cape with a flourish. “Our latest test. I would be happy to answer any questions you might have, after watching it.”Â
Krennic is good at small talk, she thinks to herself, and she’s hardly complaining. Plenty of people try and chat her up because of her close connection to the Emperor, but rarely can they get a smile out of her. He does. Be it sincerely amused with the topic or a little too amused at his charisma, well, that was up for debate.
“Oh, I never lost my faith in you, Director.” She pulled herself up to sit on the edge of her desk, legs dangling, almost childishly. Mara wasn’t perhaps, quite like other people who served the Emperor. She had not come into this as an adult already well-rounded by her parents. Palpatine had raised her, and while he was good at crafting warriors, he knew nothing of raising children.
“No, we’ve been very excited about the station, it’s Vader who’s been a bit pessimistic.”

“I sense his presence, still, sometimes.” Gaze on the distant horizon, fingers threading nervously through copper hair. “Sometimes when I dream I can hear his voice.” She looked to her aunt, biting her lip a moment before looking away again. “That’s a strange thing, wouldn’t you say, Aunt Satine?”

“Director Krennic,” Cool voice as green eyes scan a data pad, back to him, but the sense of his presence in the Force is unmistakable. “I trust this is not a friendly visit.” Marking where she had finished reading mentally, she set the pad down, turning to look at him. Mara didn’t really fit into the pecking order of the admiralty, she had her own unique post, but it wasn’t unheard of for the Emperor’s other branches of service to reach out to his Hands for help.
“It’s my understanding that things haven’t been going very well for you recently, sir.”
The Emperor raised her to believe her Force abilities depended on him.

@hearawhisper liked for a darth regulus starter!
“I’m concerned about one of your fellow Hands. My master has sensed it too—there’s dark intent in her.“
Leto Moonspinner was one of the younger Hands, barely into adulthood when the late Emperor had been destroyed. She was unfocused but strong in the Force, and ambitious—even having openly expressed her distaste for Jade’s position of favor.
New to the ways of the Sith as Regulus might be, he knew exactly how one who coveted the position of Sith Apprentice went about claiming it. A reckless Dark Side user with a thirst for more power than she’d been given likely had designs on either Regulus’s life or his father’s.
At the very least, there was a good chance she had it out for Jade. Regulus found that prospect surprisingly troubling.
Even so, some would say Jade had made herself indispensable for the same purpose. And who would be better suited for an inside investigation?
“My master and I will be away from Imperial Center for some time, in the Outer Rim. Keep a close watch on Moonspinner—I want to know what she’s planning.”
Regulus frowned behind his cowl, unsettled, even still, by the orders he found himself having to give. He threw his mental shields up quickly, lest Jade scent weakness—but the discomfort was still there.
It is not the way of the Sith to be forgiving.
“If she discovers this, or proves to be a threat otherwise, kill her.”
Moonspinner had been on her mind too, she had come to sense her bitterness on her own, but had not wanted to complain. Pettiness hardly had a place in the workings of the Empire, and Jade had worked hard to master a sense of calm whenever the other Hand had been nearby. The last thing she wanted to do was jeopardize trust that she had spent the last year earning from the Emperor and from Regulus.
Still, sometimes she would fantasize about laying that little bitch out in front of everyone.
And even more alarming was the prospect that Leto might make an attempt on the Emperor or his apprentice. Something that would upset everything they had been working toward. Though Mara told herself, best as she could, that she wouldn’t shed a tear for either of them. She knew deep down, it would be upsetting, at the least.
“I understand,” She said calmly, tasting blood from biting her cheek to keep herself in line. “You and the Emperor needn’t worry, I will find out what’s going on, and deal with it accordingly.”
She bowed her head in a respectful gesture, mind racing at a million thoughts per second.
I love to see your eyes shine when you laugh.
                                                I love you.
Sorry for my back and forth, I’m insanely bogged down by my job. But I might be around tonight and will certainly be here Friday!
