hihi!! I just binge read all of heartblood and it makes me so happy to see some gay ladies on webtoon!! :D are you guys planning on continuing past chapter four?

Hiya!! Sorry for the VERY belated response, we’ve been very busy with the comic!! :D

Thanks for the feedback! We are, indeed, also glad to see gay ladies, haha :D We just published episode 5 today and we absolutely plan on continuing the story until it’s very end! Which should be, well - many, many, MANY MANY MANY chapters more. Stay tuned! We also update our instagram fairly often (including whenever we post a new chapter) so if instagram is your thing, I recommend you check it out!

Love your work so far! Are there any inspirations (artists or otherwise) that helped this comic come about?

I would say, Disney’s Pocahontas was a big inspiration for their world’s outcome, or at least how it looks and feels at times. I listened to a lot of the soundtrack of Pocahontas (and Hamilton musical….) while drawing episode 01 and teaser comic.

  Hello!! Thank you, that’s so nice to hear!! :D

  Originally, the story was intended to be only 9 chapters long but at this point, it’s DEFINITELY going to be at least twice (if not thrice….) that! So minimum fourty panels per episode times two or three is… Actually kind of a lot?

That's a cool teaser! I was wondering, what do their names, Asta and Teyeno, mean?

Inna Answers:

  Hello kind stranger!! Thank you so much!! ♥

  Asta and Teyeno actually have no meaning at all! Funny enough, Asta’s name originated from me doing a quick sketch of this, at that point, unnamed elf girl and naming the file “ASDA” which was, really, just keyboard smash. I jokingly thought to myself to call her Asda and then thought - hey, Asta’s actually a pretty good, short, memorable, sort of almost Finnish name! Teyeno was honestly just a random name I came up with, looking for something that sounds maybe Japanese and sort of kind of rolls of the tongue when speaking of Asta and Teyeno.
