dandelions are magic. literally tiny suns in the grass that turn into the moon and then the stars when you blow on them. fucking insane.

Cheetahs donโt have stripesโฆ or do they? ๐ค Meet the โking cheetahโ (Acinonyx jubatus)โnote the pattern on its back. When scientists first observed this animal in 1926, it was thought to be a new species. Today, we know that โking cheetahsโ are the same species as spotted cheetahs, and their unusual patterning is actually the result of a genetic mutation. These individuals are rare: Only a handful of striped cheetahs have ever been seen in the wild.

[Caption: For nothing is fixed, forever and forever and forever, it is not fixed; the earth is always shifting, the light is always changing, the sea does not cease to grind down rock. Generations do not cease to be born, and we are responsible to them because we are the only witnesses they have.
The sea rises, the light fails, lovers cling to each other, and children cling to us. The moment we cease to hold each other, the moment we break faith with one another, the sea engulfs us and the light goes out. 1964. James Baldwin. End caption]
