his head tips to the side, chin in hand and an unusual, lazy look about him. it's the first time in a long while they're somewhere with no concern for kaz's plans, no one to keep an eye on out of the corner of their eye beyond the regular. wylan's been primed for caution, regardless, but that came long before he got involved in their little band of thieves.

his foot taps a steady rhythm under the table, a nail taps the same tune against a mostly-empty glass. wylan doesn't consider optimism under his skill-set, but even as the tone of the bar shifts around them upon jesper's long awaited return, he feels mostly gracious they were able to get through a meal before something rocked out of their favor. they're skilled, but wylan wouldn't say especially fortunate.
