Due to my weird childhood and my weird brain, I have this very unhelpful compulsion to conceal Everything I do from Everyone. I Cannot be observed performing any action, no matter how mundane. My nervous system is convinced I'm gonna, like, Get In Trouble for eating food at dinnertime or sleeping in my bed at bedtime.

hi there! It’s the anon asking about your lineart brush again! That video was pretty helpful! I would appreciate the upload to the assets store that you suggested at the end of your reply, I’m very very new to clip studio and am thus rather incompetent at fully navigating it- I managed to make a decently good replica from that video but I’m almost certain I’m missing something, i have no idea how much effort or time it takes to upload a brush so if it’s time consuming please don’t feel the need to bother! As I said I’ve got a decent enough recreation, but if it’s not too hard or time consuming then id love that upload and would owe you my life and portfolio :3

do you think you would be okay with putting your lineart brush on the clip studio assets page? I’ve been looking at your posts about your brush but I’ve had no luck recreating it- it’s totally fine if you don’t want too! Just asking because I love the way you do it sm! :D
It is super easy to make I promise! This is how fast you can make it with the default g-pen!
Make sure the brush size pressure sensitivity is off, the thickness is turned down and the brush shape should resemble an oval, and then turn on pressure sensitivity for density!
(If you're still struggling I can see about uploading it to the asset store)

can you explain how you draw real people? you style is really cool, i can immediately tell who you’re drawing. i’m getting kindaaa decent at art but drawing real people in a stylized way is what i struggle the most, they just look nothing life the ref

I'll be so real, drawing real life people is usually my least favourite activity, I get very uncomfortable looking at photos of people for extended periods of time. Having to look at ryan gosling's face for longer than 5 seconds gives me hives. Yet I persevere.
This is kind of my process when I first start drawing someone from live action, I start with realistic studies to get down features, from that exploration, I figure out what makes them distinct. Mr gosling has very distinct eyes and nose, so I latch onto that and do more studies but instead of fully trying to capture everything, I go off vibes. Then more and more vibes until I no longer have to look at his face.
I don't have the original studies I did for grace cause I deleted that shit but I do have the ones for carl!
