I don’t get what you people are saying about the finale? So I’m here to hopefully clear some of this up, and/or at least get some answers as to why everyone’s so riled up. 

First of all, the going back in time thing? Jay and Nya remembered everything, so why couldn’t the other ninja? Lloyd specifically talked about “deja-vu”, which meant he obviously remembered. Also, Jay said his wish from the heart, which was what was supposed to happen. 

About the character development. I don’t know why you guys are so feisty about this, because the other characters were in the sword basically the whole season, especially Kai. How were they supposed to be developed? This was supposed to be a season for Jay, and there would be way too much going on if the Hagemans developed EVERY SINGLE ninja’s character in just ten or so episodes. 

The Hagemans would not write an entire season, everything well thought out, and then just throw in a random finale that makes no sense. The brothers who thought up all these bad puns, all the little funny additions we rant about, the brothers who added Echo Zane.. you’re saying they carelessly threw together the last episode. Excuse me? They’re trying to make the show better, what with the movie and everything coming out next year. 

If you want to hate on those precious cinnamon rolls who have been working their butts off to make a good show, go ahead. But if all you’re going to do is complain about everything, why don’t you just leave the fandom and let some of us alone to be grateful for the show? 

There wasn’t even supposed to be a season three. I suggest you get what you get, and you don’t have a fit.

I met a couple Australians this weekend and they introduced me to what is possibly the greatest phrase in the English language. Apparently, a common response to a wide variety of questions is “I’m not here to fuck spiders”. It means “I’m already doing that” or “Obviously, yeah”. So like, example usage:

At the bar with a friend. Friend: do you want to get a beer? Me: well, I’m not here to fuck spiders.

this is seriously a thing australians do, like, automatically. someone will say something that is complete bullshit in front of a foreigner and everyone will instantly jump on board and confirm it. like it’s some kind of built-in reflex.

my step-dad actually convinced my mom that there were no trains in australia. and he didn’t end this conversation with a ‘just kidding’ or anything like that. he just let her think that for years until we moved here and she saw a train and was like DAMN IT KEVIN!!!!!

shading colour tips

hey yall its me the Art Mom™ to help you shade pretty

rule 1: DO NOT SHADE WITH BLACK. EVER. IT NEVER LOOKS GOOD. 

red- shade with a slightly darker shade of purple

orange- slightly darker and more saturated shade of red

yellow- i think like..a peach could work but make it a really light peach

green- shade with darker and less saturated shade of blue or teal

blue- shade with purple

purple- a shade thats darker than the purple you’re using and maybe a little pink (MAYBE blue)

pink- darker shade of red

white- a really light lavender or blue..or i guess any really light colour??

black- okay listen dont use pure black to colour anything unless you want to leave it with flat colours because you cant really shade black lol

grey- a slightly darker shade of purple or blue (less saturated)

brown- slightly darker and less saturated shade of purple or red

aaaaand thats all i got lol. let me know if there is anything i should add to this list!!
