I was looking up info about the malcolm in the middle revival, and apparently the nonbinary character they mentioned when it was announced is the youngest child that lois found out she was pregnant with in the finale, and rock on! but also I'm a little disappointed bc I forgot about the finale pregnancy and for a brief period of time I imagined a world where there was a plotline where jamie comes out as a woman but instead of Coming Out she just gaslights the entire family like "I've been a girl the whole time. fuck you guys for not paying enough attention to me??" and reese is stupid enough to fall for it but francis. francis who delivered the baby. is losing his goddamn mind. lois is 1000% aiding the gaslighting by doctoring jamie's baby photos. psychological warfare against francis as a mother-daughter bonding activity.
