The Granny with her Grandkids

They caught my attention as soon as I got in to the jeepney so I sat across them and secretly took pictures of the beautiful scene. An almost bald-headed Granny with not so healthy body but still manages to take care of her grandkids. This is one of the things I never experienced since I didn’t grow up with a granny or a gramp around. One of the things I envy about with friends who get the chance to live with their grandparents. I had my grandparents though but I seldom see them since they live in the province. I’m not saying that my parents aren’t good enough (they are the best! Definitely!) It’s just that I don’t know how caring and pampering a grandparent is. I don’t know how it feels to live with them. And I never get the chance to travel with them just like how the Granny and her grandkids do on this photo.

Maybe that is the reason why they caught my attention and why it felt like my eyes are sparkling even though I’m exhausted from a night shift while I look at them. Travelling long hours on the way home can be very tiring and time consuming but there is always something good to witness as you wander each day. Forgive me for taking photos with no permission.

The Moffatts was the first ever band I adored. I can still recall how crazy I was over them buying stuffs with their pictures on it. I even begged my sister to give me her cassette tape of their first album. This is the only band that I've known so well, birthdays, birthplace, complete name. I even know who among the triplets was born first. I really love them. I suddenly missed them when I found this video. Too bad! I no longer have the cassette tape and the stuffs I collected when I was in grade school. Good thing someone uploaded this video on YouTube! Thank you. 

Though I noticed that I can still sing along with the with the song without even looking at a lyric book. I am still an avid fan I guess.

Just when I needed it most! I read something that eases my burden. He, up there, really has a lot of ways to communicate. Thank you!

This movie is worth keeping yourself awake ignoring your inviting pillows in bed. Here are some of the lines I noted from this film:

Melanie: It's farther than I thought. Wanda: I know! There's no farther I can go. Melanie: You've walked too far to walk back.

Two of my fave bands collaborated for a cause. First saw this video when I was in college, a really awesome video. If there are things from the past that I love to look back, this is one of them. My punky days. I miss!
