Heart Of An Astronaut

After graduating high school in Tucson, Shannon Belock attended Pima Medical institute to become a Physical Therapist. She dropped out after 8 months, realizing she had no time left for art. She then moved to Illinois in March of 2011 to attend The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She plans on finishing her BFA at SAIC, then getting her MFA to pursue a career in Art Therapy.

Josh and I are scanning my illustrations for his children's book "What we think and what we know" TODAY. So stoked for this to come out. It's about the history & similarities of religion and belief systems. So many children's books today that are religion based, present the information as fact instead of opening up the vast options of how one may choose to see the world. The child can then make their own educated decision.
