My student felt defeated, rejected, lost, hurt, and hopeless when it came to multiplication. He went weeks avoiding homework and me. But today with a PUSH, perseverance, will and trust in his own ability he not only got it but he exceed his own expectations. Today was a blessing for us both, cuz I realized how & why I do it. Eye have experienced defeat, rejection, hurt and hopelessness...so it makes sense that I can speak to the things that I have pressed through.
