He was slowly caving and she was thrilled. Smiling at him, always touching, anything that would make sure that she got her way when it came to him and his fangs. she cared about him so much, but she needed this. “I hope I can make you feel amazing really really soon.” She said quietly just to see the blush on his cheeks.

A small, pleased squeak escaped her as he lifted her and she clung to him until they got home. she was nervous about Clary but at the same time, desperate for alone time with him.

Thankfully a moment after he knocked, the petite redhead peeked her head out. “I’m okay. just trying to handle this all.” Clary explained. “But you two enjoy yourselves. I’m gonna go down to the mystic grill and check in.” She said, grabbing her keys and leaving. “Have fun watching movies.” She calls over her shoulder as the door closed.

Now alone and comforted, Izzy turns to Simon. “Just the two of us babe. we should definitely take advantage of it.” Reaching back behind her, she unzipped her dress and stepped out of it. “take me to bed. please?” She said, watching him as she slowly undid her bra.

Simon felt that knot in his stomach disappear as his best friend answered and got out of the room. “Yeah, I think we all are, it was all so crazy” he wondered what caused it all, he had heard from other people that the town wasn’t a place that usually had earthquakes, so it made it all even weirder. Could be supernatural related?

“Oh, alright, I will see you later then, be careful” he said, he was really less worried now. He cared so much about the people in his life, he wouldn’t want anything bad to happen to them.

Before he could say anything, Izzy had already taken off her dress, and he couldn’t help, but checked her body out, letting his eyes go up and down, looking at every inch of her body. She was already hot with clothes on, she was even hotter without it.  “Shit…” he said in an almost whisper, just seeing her like that, was turning him on even more. 

“Y-Yeah” he nodded at her request, and held her hand, before walking with her to his room, then he closed his door, and locked it, just in case. He walked to the bed and sat down by Izzy’s side, his eyes immediately went to her neck, he could smell the blood in her veins, which caused his fangs to go out already.

She looked at Simon, smiling slightly. "you like it?" She said, turning slowly so he could check her out. As they got to the bedroom, she just stood for a minute, torn. she wanted him to know she cared and she didn't want to make light of this moment together, but she needed this. this town didn't offer yin fen and she needed a fix. she was practically shaking with the need. she leaned down, nudging him to lay down before she straddled him, leaning to kiss him. "You're so amazing to me, Simon. I could never ask for a better boyfriend. and now I want to be good to you." She whispered.

She flicked her hair off her neck, baring it for him, looking down. "I want to feed you. Bite me, Simon. please." She whispered, shifting so that she was laying on the bed to give him better access. "I'm nervous. but I am excited to do this too." She admitted. "I haven't ever let another vampire bite me."

Izzy didn’t care if he took a little too much, she just needed the venom. She wasn’t thinking logically, though she knew she couldn’t let that fact on to Simon. She cared so much about him and she knew that when all this was over she’d feel terrible, but right now, she didn’t have another option. She couldn’t bring herself to ask another vampire, no that would be a betrayal to him she would never forgive herself of. But him…he could do it and she would love it. “Of course. You make me feel amazing.” She leaned in to kiss him again.

She shivered, imagining the bite and the feel of the venom rushing through her veins again. She needed it. She wanted it more than anything. All she needed was for him to actually bite her. “Let’s go home then.” She insisted. “We’ll find Clary there and know she’s safe and then we can go into your room and do…whatever we want.” She let the implication sit there, made sure he knew she was more than willing. She had never been one for waiting for something she wanted, especially not when it involved something like this. She nodded, leaning in to kiss him again, lingering this time. “Simon,” She whispered against his lips. “I want you. And I know that I’m not going anywhere. I don’t care if it’s rushing, I just want to be with you.” She smiled at him, nudging him in the direction of their apartment. “I hope you know that you mean the world to me. And it’s been driving me crazy, not being able to take these steps with you.” She told him honestly.

”Take me home, Simon. Please?” She pleaded with him, already slowly stepping in the direction of their apartment

Each kiss she gave him and the way that their bodies felt pressed against each other, made him be each time eager, he was someone that was able to control himself well, but when it comes to the girl he liked, and the fact that he knew once they got home, they would do more than just kissing, it made him eager. Sex wasn’t the most important thing to him, he also didn’t think it was the most important thing in a relationship, there were more important things, but that doesn’t mean he didn’t enjoy it. “ You make me feel amazing too, baby”  he smiled softly, before he returned her kiss happily, he loved calling her baby, it felt so right. His feelings for her, was getting each day stronger, he could feel that he was slowly falling in love with her.

“Yeah, you’re probably right, I really hope that she’s in there, I’m worried about her” even though he wanted to get home as soon possible, he was still worried about Clary, but their place, was the first place that they should look, if she wasn’t there, then he would let the bite and the sex for another time. As much as he wanted to do said things, a lot, he cared about his best friend very much, and would want to make sure that she was safe first. “I really hope you won’t, I wouldn’t handle losing you, because you also mean the world to me, and I want us to last”  he said with a soft smile, and instead of starting to walk with her, he picked her up in his arms, and made sure no one was around, before he used his super speed to get to his apartment faster. You can’t blame him for being in a hurry, she turned him on, with the kisses, and pressing their bodies together, he couldn’t wait, he couldn’t wait to get home, that’s why he used his super speed.

“Come on” he bit his lip, before walking into his apartment, and going straight to Clary’s room,  and knocked on it. “Clary, you’re in there?”

She closed her eyes, trying to keep from crying. She felt like she had failed him, like she would never ever be worth his time. No matter what he said, no matter what he did, she’d never believe it, because she would know what she really was. She was an addict and she was only going to drag him down. She enjoyed him close, not bothered by the fact that he was cooler skinned than her. It felt nice, cooling her overheated skin and clearing her mind the smallest amount. 

“Simon…” She trailed off, sighing and watching him for a second. “Bite me.” She offered, biting at her lower lip. “You should feed, right?” She offered him, clouded by her addiction for just a second “And that’s something that we should experience…as a couple.” She practically purred at him, watching him through her eyelashes. Somewhere in her she knew this was an inappropriate reaction to her self-hatred and her addiction. 

“I want you to bite me Simon, please. It would mean so much if you would.” She said, shifting her hair off her neck to offer it to her. “Do this. You deserve it.” 

Simon was confused, she wanted him to bite her? Why would she want that? She wanted to feel closer to him? He was a vampire that was against feeding, unless the person gave permission, because then was different, without it, he thinks the vampires are just stealing someone’s blood. And she gave him the permission, but he was scared, he was scared of not being able to stop, he heard things about the shadowhunter’s blood, that it could be harder to resist and to stop, that the craving was stronger.

“You want me to bite you? With my fangs?” it was more of a rhetorical question, because he was shocked about it, he didn’t expect her to ask him something like that. “I… I don’t know” he bit his lip, a frown on his face. “I never fed from someone, what if I end up not being able to stop…?” he licked his lips, he would never forgive himself if he ever did anything to hurt her, he didn’t want to lose control.

“Maybe… Only if you promise me something, if I can’t stop… Do you promise me that you will stop me?”

Izzy could see that he was nervous about the idea but she needed him to say yes. She needed nothing more than to feel his fangs sink into her arm, soothing the need for venom in her. She felt herself shake and it strengthened her resolve. “Please Simon,” She begged, eyes wide and pleading. “I want you to bite me. I need you to feed from me.” She said with a nod. “I know you can stop. I trust you. But I need you to be strong for me. Everything going on around here, I need you to be ready. And how better than to feed from me? I want this. I trust you.” She knew it was her addiction talking and she felt ashamed, disgusted, but unable to stop.

When he started to agree, she smiled and leaned in to kiss him. “You may be nervous, but I trust you.” She promised him, holding him close. “I promise I will stop you if you take too much, but I truly think that you won’t.” She told him, hand resting on his cheek as she looked at the young vampire. “Do you want to bite my neck or my arm?” She questioned, watching him. “I wouldn’t mind wearing your mark wherever.” It was a low purr that escaped her as she spoke, looking at him through her lashes, trying to distract him with sexuality.

”Maybe there’s another step we should take as well,” She said, running her fingers along his chest, leaving the implication clear. “Maybe once this is settled, we’ll go back home and I’ll show you how happy I am to have you, even when I don’t deserve you.”

Simon had to stop when she started to talk, did she really think that about herself? He couldn’t believe it, she was so good, she deserved him and he couldn’t believe that she couldn’t see that. “I’m okay, I promise. A little shaky but just because I’m not sure what exactly is going on.” She explained. The explanation hopefully covered the fact that she was shaking from yin fen withdrawal. Clinging to him, she wondered what it would take to get him to bite her. To drink from her. But that wasn’t something she wanted to bring up right now, with all the issues that were happening. “So…” She looked around. “How do we go about finding everyone?” She asked him, biting at her lower lip. “I don’t exactly have a parabatai to track.” She pointed out. “And I don’t have anything of anyone’s that I can try and use to track either.” She ran her hands through her long , dark hair. 

“Maybe we can find Magnus who I’m sure will help us find Alec.” She pointed out. “And I bet Clary and Jace are together wherever they are. We just have to hurry.” She insisted. 

“I’m sure” he assured her, before happily returning her kiss, even though he didn’t like when she was worried, he had to admit that it was really cute how much she cared about him. He, of course, cared about her as much. “I’m not pretending, I promise I’m okay” he smiled, before kissing her cheek.

“Yeah, I noticed that” he held her hand, before he started to stroke it with his thumb, trying to calm her down, he hated seeing her like that, he would do anything he could to calm her down. Maybe if they cuddled once they get home, it would help her calm down, he hoped it would, but if not, he could always see if they had tea there, he’ve heard they could calm someone down. “Maybe we can just walk around and see if we find them, they may be somewhere around here” his thumb not stopping to stroke her hand. “If we don’t find them, I can just send them a text” he hoped that they were okay, he was so worried, and that could be seen by his expression.

“Come on” he linked their arms, before he started to walk with her. “If Clary didn’t go home yet, she is probably around here, same with Alec and Magnus”

Izzy felt terrible for lying to Simon. If there was one person in this world she didn't want to lie to, it was him and her brothers. and yet, she was. Every second that she spoke just felt like more deceit and like she would never be the girlfriend he deserved. she couldn't stop walking because they had to find their friends, but she felt cold, unworthy of the affection he was giving her.

"okay." She said rather than giving a drawn out answer, not trusting her words. she sat silent with him for a moment before she stopped him, turning to look him in the eyes. "Simon." She said, searching his face for something, anything that hinted he was less than perfect and not seeing it. "You are so good. To everyone." She said, reaching to brush her thumb over his cheek. "You're so sweet and kind and smart and just...I don't get how you can be." She said softly."I feel selfish, for being here, with you. When there has to be some girl that's more worthy of your time. and I know I should leave, so you can find her. But I'm just so damn selfish and I can't." She said, reaching a shaky hand to his cheek to gently pull him in closer, kissing him with everything she had. "I'm sorry I'm so selfish. I don't deserve you. But I just...I won't leave you. Not even when I know I don't deserve you."

“Well, you deserve this kind of treatment” he said genuinely, not just saying that, he meant it. He would treat her like a queen, he didn’t have much money, but he would make her feel like a queen, she deserved to feel special every day. “I’m glad you liked it” he smiled softly. “Yeah? I couldn’t imagine going with anyone else either” he smiled again, before he happily returned her kiss, gosh, he was such a lucky guy.

He had no idea whay happened, but it was scary, he hoped no one got hurt. “Physicallly, yes, but I’m still a little scared and shocked, are you okay?” he asked, his eyes going up and down on her body, making sure that she really wasn’t hurt, he didn’t see any wound. She didn’t seem to be hurt, but he couldn’t help but still be worried. “Yes, we do, we need to make sure everyone is okay”.

Izzy had been sitting around the apartment, debating what to do while Simon was at work. she knew the founders day thing was coming up and she wanted to go, but she wasn’t sure what was going on with her and Simon going. they had discussed it as friends but now that they were more than friends, who knew if he still wanted to go or how it would change things. she hated being unsure. especially with how shaky she felt since she hadn’t had any yin fen. but then she heard Simon coming home and smiled, opening the door to her room. “hey you,” She said affectionately. “Of course. anything you want to talk about. whatcha hiding?” She asked, curious.

Simon smiled softly at her, he still couldn’t believe that she felt the same way, he would never have thought that she would ever feel the same. He was glad that when he woke up that morning, that it didn’t end up being a dream, because he would be so devastated if it had ended up being just a dream. “Oh, it’s just… Hm…” he revealed the flowers, a light blush on his cheeks. “Flowers, I bought this for you” he smiled softly, he was so nervous, but then again, he usually was, it was something he couldn’t help. “And what I wanted to ask you, was if you want to go to the folders celebration with me, but as a date, I want to go with you as more than just a friend, I want you to be my date, would you be my date?”

Izzy smiled, reaching for the flowers. "You're so sweet." She told him, smelling the bouquet he had gotten. "This is perfect Simon, thank you!" She said excitedly. She listened to him, nodding as he spoke. "Of course I'll go with you!! I couldn't imagine going with anyone else." She leaned forward, kissing him before she moved to get ready. In only a short few moments she was ready to go.

The founders day celebration had been great, fun and perfect. But then something had gone wrong and Izzy was panicked about everyone being hurt. Turning to look at her boyfriend, her face was screwed up into an expression of worry and panic. "Are you okay?" She asked, checking over the vampire. "We need to get home so we can check on everyone else." She pointed out.

He knew that they already talked about going to the event together, and that they agreed on it, but he wanted to ask her officially to be his date to the event, because when they talked about it, Izzy meant for them to go as friends, and since now they were a little more than that, he wanted to ask her to be his date. After leaving his work, he got a job on the coffee shop, he headed home, he bought a bouquet of flowers, that had all kind of flowers.

Once he got home, he got inside and walked to her room, he hide the flowers behind his back, he knock on the door, before walking in. “Hi” he smiled softly at her. “I want to ask you something”

Alec sighed as Isabelle went off on one of her over emotional rants. He always felt uncomfortable when others were so obvious with their feelings. “Calm down Izzy. It’s not like we’re getting married. Actually if we ever do you aren’t invited. You’ll start crying and overreacting.” He looked away from her to hide his smile. She always made him smile no matter what nonsense was coming out of her mouth. It annoyed him endlessly. “Who do you like? You can’t date anyone without my approval. I swear that I will kill him no matter who it is. Especially if he’s enough of an idiot to not see how fantastic you are. The idiot would be insanely lucky to date you. He’s not good enough.”

“One day you’re going to get married for real and I’m going to watch you walk down the aisle and there’s nothing you can do to stop me.” She said, sticking her tongue out at him. “I will not cry!” That was probably a lie and they both knew it, but it wouldn’t stop her from saying it anyways. “Alec..” She sighed, looking over at her big brother. “Don’t you dare hurt him. Look, I knew from the start it was probably doomed. He’s...well.” She shrugged. “You are going to laugh at me.” She took a deep breath, looking at her brother. “Simon.” She felt ridiculous confessing her crush to Alec of all people. Emotionally constipated Alec, who had almost married a woman rather than admit his own homosexuality. But who else did she have? Her friends were limited to her two brothers, Clary, Simon, and Magnus. .And Alec was one person she would always trust, no matter what.

It felt so amazing to kiss her, the way that their bodies were pressed against each other, no room left between the two of them. His hands wrapped around her body, keeping her close, the way their lips moved together, and how passionate the kiss was, it was all perfect. He opened his eyes a few times as they kissed, to make sure that it was really her, that he was really kissing, that it wasn’t all just a dream. He wondered how long he liked her and just didn’t notice, probably a while.

As they parted, he already kind of missed her lips, he rested his forehead against her, his eyes still closed, just enjoying the moment, before opening his eyes after a few seconds. “I don’t think I would mind doing that at all…” he smiled softly, his own eyes looking at her eyes, a light blush on his cheeks. As she kissed him again, he happily returned her kiss, making this one a little more passionate than the previous one, one that would make him get breathless if he still breath. “

He smiled softly at her as the kiss was broken and she gave a stepped back, his smile just grew when she laced their fingers, it felt so right, as if their hands belonged together. “I didn’t know, that is until our almost kiss in the shower…” he licked his lips, it was then that he started to notice that he did have feelings for her. “Then I didn’t tell you because I was scared of how you would react” he said, before doing as she said, and sat down on the couch.

He wrapped his arms around her, and pulled into his lap, cuddling her. “And I can’t believe you want me, I would never have guessed you felt the same” he smiled softly. “It does, like a dream”

This felt good, curled against him on the couch, enjoying having him close. He was perfect. She felt like for once, she wasn’t just another notch in someone’s bedpost, like she was more than just sex and a pretty face. She could get used to this feeling, it was dangerous. 

“It’s okay, I forgive you.” She teased. She kissed his cheek, resting her head on his shoulder, feeling small and comforted for that moment. She didn’t feel like she had to be a badass shadowhunter, she could just be Isabelle Lightwood, a girl with a crush that was reciprocated. “Well I promise it’s not a dream.” She told him with a chuckle. “But I get how it feels like that. Things are finally good. Or getting there.” She amended. “And I feel like I’m going to wake up and it’s all going to be gone.” She said with a sigh. “Spend the night with me?” She requested. “Just sleeping, I promise. For now. I actually don’t want this to move too quickly.” She said, amazed by even the thought. “But just lay with me?” She watched him, hoping he would agree. 

“We could sleep in your room if you want. Since I just had...” She trailed off, shrugging. Nothing had happened between her and the mundane, since Simon had interrupted after only a few kisses. But if he was uncomfortable or could smell the guy, she wasn’t opposed to sleeping anywhere as long as it was in his arms for a night. 

“And I guess that this means I’m gonna have to watch all your dorky movies with you?” She sighed, as though she was long suffering, though a grin formed on her face anyways. “Star Wars was...alright. Alec felt relief wash over him after seeing his sister’s face. Her usual snark and annoying behavior was something to cherish after spending any amount of time apart from her. Reaching out he drew her under his arm as he wrapped an arm around her shoulders. He didn’t tell her that he missed her too. Emotions and words like that were hard for him but she could tell by his actions. “When am I not trying to play hard to get? Magnus is very overwhelming so it can be difficult to play that with him. I have seen him though. I think he was the first one I saw.”

“I’m proud of you,” She said from under his arm, grinning up at her big brother. “You’re happy and I’m glad you’re finally letting yourself be.” She told him. “Maybe you’ll stop being such a stick in the mud.” She teased, nudging him as they walked. “I think overwhelming is good for you. Keeps you on your toes.” She said. Izzy let silence take over for just a second before she looked up at Alec. “I might be interested in someone. Romantically.” She confessed, keeping things vague. “It’s a new interest. I guess. But I’m...not sure how it’s going to go.” She shrugged, knowing that Simon wasn’t exactly interested in her, at least as far as she knew.

It was funny, in the past, all the things she said about Clary, would have hurt him, would have hurt him so badly, but from all the things she said, the only thing he heard was that she liked him. He frooze, she liked him? She actually liked him, he couldn’t believe, he didn’t see it coming, how could he when he thought so lowly about himself, he didn’t think that a girl like her would ever like a guy like him, she was practically a goddess, not only she was hot, but also smart and strong, it was hard for him to believe that she actually liked him, he thought he was in a dream, that he would wake up any time soon.

He was trying to decide that what he would do, his brain still a little frozen because of the information he just got. But then he decided not to do what he did when he was in love with Clary, not do anything about it and just pretend he didn’t have feelings for her, letting a silly fear get in the way, he wanted to do different this time, he wanted to do something, for the first time Simon Lewis would be bold.

“And you call me blind? Can’t you see Izzy? I’m not mad because I can’t have Clary, I’m mad because I was jealous of you! I was jealous of that guy all over you and kissing you, because I wanted to be in his place! I wanted to be kissing you! Seems like I’m not the only blind one here” he wasn’t not mad anymore, now another feeling took over, he was relieved and actually happy, the girl he had feelings for, felt the same way, he still couldn’t believe it. “Because you couldn’t see that I actually feel the same way” he got closer this time, he was terrified too, this was all new to him, he had never been on a situation like that before, but it was a nice change, one that he actually liked. “You’re not going anywhere” he swallowed hard and took a deep breath, before creating courage to just pull her closer and kiss her.

Izzy got nervous the more that Simon stayed silent. Like she couldn’t tell what he was thinking and it made her want to know. She had to know what he was thinking about, if he hated her now. It made her sick to try and linger on and she took a deep breath, hands at her side clenched as she tried to keep her cool. She hadn’t had any yin fen any time recently and she hated it. She felt shaky already and then to add in her nerves about Simon and all that had happened, she couldn’t deal. 

She glared at him as he started to speak, almost not processing what he said. “Are you mocking m-” She cut off abruptly as he continued. “Are you serious?” She asked, feeling breathless. She didn’t know what to think and then he kissed her. She clung to him, hands on his waist, leaning close to close the last remaining distance between them. “Simon,” She breathed out as they parted. “We should do that again. Practice makes perfect,” She said with a small grin, leaning to kiss him again. 

After they parted that time, she stepped back, though her hand went to his, lacing their fingers together. “You should have said something,” She scolded gently. “I was going to kiss you that night. In the shower.” She confided in him. “We could have been doing this the whole time.” She pouted, nudging him towards the living room and the couch. “Go sit.” She demanded, walking towards the couch herself and curling up. 

“I just can’t...I can’t believe you want me. Actually want not just...for a night.” She said softly, wanting to tuck herself against him. “This all feels...surreal.” She admitted.
