clace and sizzy having a double wedding, stastically speaking, would be a hilarious nightmare. clary being both simon's suggene and the bride. izzy and clary can't have each other as the maid of honor cause they're too busy running with their own bride duties. jace and izzy fighting over who get alec as their suggene (big chance izzy's asking maryse), alec still have to officiate both weddings cause he's the consul. the only winner is magnus cause he get an excuse for his 7 alec fantasy come true

A magic spell was literally going around in City of Broken Hearts that was making couples stop loving each other and all Clace got from it was SPICY SEX?? 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Say what you will about Jocelyn but that woman deserves all the flowers and grace in the world !! Rereading CoB has made me realize just how much she actually did/went through.

Not only was she able to secretly plan an entire uprising against her own iconoclastic husband with hundreds of downworlders, found time to enlist the help of a powerful warlock to create a contingency spell that she could use for the future (that actually worked!), but she was also able to live through the pain of so much betrayal, of losing everything she's ever loved and known, her parents, her childhood home, her literal CHILD, stole the cup away and fled from idris with absolutely nothing except for some family heirlooms to sell and a plan to start a new life from SCRATCH all while pregnant !! with Clary !! and she managed to hide her family from Valentine for 15 YEARS all while giving her daughter a happy, normal life, yet constantly keeping in touch with the shadow world

Not to mention learning the harsh truth about her son and how he's not only alive, but turned into a MONSTER confirming all the fear and guilt she always beat herself up for, all the sick experiments Valentine did to two innocent children in a COMA

Oh and let's not forget how she cradled her son as he died, having to bear the burden of knowing that when his eyes turned green, she knew he would have been an amazing, incredible man she would have been proud of if it wasn't for the demon blood that her husband poisoned his soul with, and that she would never have the chance of seeing again

I'm enjoying Isabelle breaking into Jordan's apartment at two am to drink his tequila and mope about Simon. Chillest guy in the world forced to experience Maximum Izzy.

I love how she's trying to write Simon off as a "scrawny mundane" like she would have in COB, but at this point she's forced to admit that even if that description was still accurate, it wouldn't matter. There isn't a logical explanation for why she finds him attractive, and she can't use harsh words to prove that he's not worth her time. She likes him because of who he is, and it's so obvious to her that she can't imagine anybody failing to notice how special he is.

Thinking about Maryse calling everyone for a family dinner. Once all of them are done eating, she says she wants a family photo, everyone looks kinda shocked because it’s been a long time since they took one. Robert and Max were there.

So Magnus, Izzy and Clary arrange a small set and then Clary, Simon, Magnus and the kids step aside carefully, leaving space for Maryse, Alec, Izzy, and Jace to take the photo. And Maryse would be confused and a little bit annoyed like “What are you guys doing? You are part of the family, you have to be in the photo”.

Everyone is trying to be on frame and look as good as possible. They took the first shot, all serious and solemn faces. Maryse does not like it, so she asks everyone to relax, smile and feel comfortable.

They do it again and again, until everyone is laughing and doing silly poses and end up with a bunch of funny and cute photos. A couple of photos of Alec, Jace and Izzy joking around, then others of Magnus, Clary and Simon. A lot of photos of Rafe and Max, some of them with their parents, sometimes with their aunts and uncles and a lot with their grandma. There are also funny couple photos.

They all feel happy and at peace 🥹
