hi hi. i know it's been a while but i wanted to come on here and tell you all that i have moved Malia to my mutli. you may find her over at @theyignited
❛ what's going on down there? ❜
she's got a flat tire. Malia doesn't consider herself handy by any means, but changing a flat tire can't be that hard, right ? she has everything she needs - her spare tire, her jack . . . all she needs to do is hoist it up and get 'er done. and well, she's got the first half of it done - her jack is underneath her car, jacked up like it's supposed to be, but Malia can't seem to figure out how to get the damn tire off and is currently kneeled down on the ground trying to pry it off when she hears a voice, alarming her of her presence.
lifting her head, Malia smiles sheepishly, pulling away from the tire for a moment as she dusts her hands off and sits up to address Alena. "i have a flat," she explains, motioning towards the tire in question. "i've never changed one on my own. think you can help me out?"

she looks at the wound, biting her bottom lip as she inspects it, her head tilted ever so slightly. honestly ? it does look a little infected and it concerns Malia as she turns towards her cupboards, quick to rummage through them to see if she can find anything to help her. she succeeds a moment later and returns with a concoction of some sort. "trust me?" she asks, offering a small grin. "this'll help with the infection and hopefully kill it before it spreads. you don't have to put a lot on it, just a dab and it should cure that right up."

"cider or hot chocolate? or both?"
"hot chocolate, for sure." although she doesn't mind apple cider on a chilly day either. her preference will always be hot chocolate, if she had to choose.

autumn/fall is obviously Malia's favorite time of the year and not just because it's spooky season, but because 90% of her wardrobe happens to be sweaters, cardigans, hoodies, and long sleeves. she has a tendency to get cold easily but not only that, she also prefers the coziness they bring. she has a habit of curling her sleeves in her hands, giving herself sweater paws, basically on a daily basis. when it's hot outside, she can't wear what she likes and it depresses her. but the same goes for winter in a sense - she doesn't like to be too cold, cause then all her effort on her outfit goes to waste and yes, she's that kind of girl. i'm not even gonna mention the sweets, cause that goes without saying. surprisingly, pumpkin spice isn't big on her, but she does love a hot chai tea and hot chocolate. basically autumn is the best time of the year and no one is going to convince her otherwise.
Tyler found it cute how Malia reacted to his cooking; it wasn't often he really got to look at someone while they enjoyed a meal of his. Most of the time, the people who sat at the bar were drinkers. Tyler never really cared for their reactions because, at the end of the day, a drink was a drink, and there really wasn't much feedback to give. The smile creeps on his features after hearing her compliment. There's a faint blush on his cheeks. She's cute and she's flatterin' me. Tyler thinks to himself waving it off bashfully. ❝ Now you're just bein' nice, you're makin' me blush, darlin'. ❞ he admits before meeting her gaze.
Hearing that her brother was developing his own restaurant, Tyler made an audible huh sound as he crossed his arms over his chest. ❝ Restaurant in The Golden State, huh? I might have to check it out next time I'm on the West Coast once he gets it up and runnin'. ❞ Tyler smiled softly; already, he was excited to see what food he'd get to try. ❝ Since it's yer mom's recipes, I'm assumin' it's gonna be a mom-n'-pop shop, right? ❞
Malia's smile grows - she can't help herself, especially when she notices the faint blush on Tyler's face. she knows she's doing a good job when she makes someone blush, especially someone like Tyler who she's heard can be a bit of a hothead. he interests her, that's for sure. she takes another bite of her burger, humming around the meat, and swallows before speaking. she knows her manners, after all. "i'm only telling you the truth. it's been a while since i've had a good meal that wasn't done by my own hand - not that i'm bragging or anything, i'm no chef, but i usually don't eat out." she shrugs her shoulders. "it's a lot cheaper to feed yourself, especially when i'm living in an RV with two cats."
she nods at his question, smiling when she talks about her brother. he's one of many brothers, of course, she has four of them. she's always had a big family, not minding that she's not the youngest of all of the kids, rather she enjoys being that middle child, taking care of her siblings. "for sure, he's excited. he's only just recently discovered his love for people, but cooking has always been his go-to. we used to have cook-offs at home. me, my mom, and my brother - it was a lot of fun." she taps her fingers against the bar as she pops in another french fry. she really has a thing for these fries, man. "he's calling it the Devereux Legacy Diner, in fact. we're big on our name, we've had a long line of interesting folks in our family, a bit magical, if i say so myself."

"And you do realize it wasn't exactly easy for me to convince my buyer to go back on that sale of Sarah Osborne's quartz, but I did for my favorite little witch friend, now didn't I?" Green eyes roll, but she knows nothing in the supernatural realm is as simple as 1, 2, 3, but still, that didn't mean she wouldn't show a glimmer of impatience. "Well then grant your multiple blessings. They need to be completely spirit free, do you know what kind of hell would ensue if those morons had them around?"
Lips pull up into a smile as Bela takes in the inventory Malia lays out. "Gladly." Each ring is picked up, inspected, and tried on- taking in each beautiful design of the jewelry. "I won't lie to you Malia, these might be some of your best work. Oh- if you have some banishing swamp dust tucked in one of those cupboards, I need that too. It's better if you don't ask any questions."
Malia smiles. yeah, she's aware of how hard it was for Bela for that, but she appreciates what she did nonetheless. it was good to have the quartz back in a witch's possession where it belonged. "yes, and i appreciate you very much for that," she says, looking at Bela with a fondness in her eyes, her smile as vibrant as her eyes. she dismisses her with a wave, grabbing the sage and salt from her cupboard as she places them on the table next to the items strewn about. she watches Bela for a moment - watches her trying on the jewelry and can't help but let her smile grow. it pleases her to see her excited over her work, even if she's not shaking with it - Malia can still tell she enjoys what she sees, even without her words.
"you know i take my clients words very seriously," she says as she moves to grab the swamp dust that had been requested of her. she keeps a low stock of it and she'll need to restock, but anything for Bela. she sits the bag down in front of her as she turns back towards the haunted pieces of jewelry. "you know, i can tell you about the hosts before we begin ? i can get a reading of whom the pieces belonged to, what importance this piece of jewelry was to them. all that good stuff. this being from the Stanley, i'm curious to see what stories it has to tell."

She was just trying to clean up a little bit, knocking something over hadn't been the plan.
she's not mad - she's more . . . concerned, if you will. she picks up the bottle that had been knocked over and checks its contents before letting out a sigh of relief. "it's okay, Caroline. it was an accident. and it's perfectly okay, nothing's spilled. i was just worried you'd knocked something over that could cause you harm. i do have vervain in here, after all. i'd hate for you to get hurt."

" so you know our king ? " nelvi asked. the werewolf advisor of lupos serves as the royal's right hand aid. advisor. guard. the green eyes made a slight shimmer. when in wolf form, nelvi is often mistaken for a bear as his fur is dark brown almost black.
his eyes also become a bright red. lupos has tons of visitor that their monarch likes to welcome it is hard to keep track. " he seems to trust you, i mean he trusts almost everyone which is foolish." nelvi made a growl, it was a slight one. unlike the king he did not trust everyone. no. he was hesitant.
Malia looks at him and nods her head. "yes, i know your king. he's very kind to me." she means what she says about the king, Caspian. he has shown her nothing but kindness and it means the world to her. of course, she understands Nelvi's detest as well. she understands where he's coming from - why he doesn't trust her as readily as his king does, but she'll prove that there is no reason to fear her. while she may be a witch, she promises to never lay a hand on a wolf as long as she shall live - as long as they keep their paws to themselves, of course. she can't be blamed if she were to do something to protect herself.
"i don't think he's foolish," she continues with a faint smile on her face as she talks about the king. he makes her happy, she hopes it shows in the way she talks. "i think he's very brave for believing in the good of people. you should, too. it's rare to come by these days."

i really want someone to love Malia. like she's got such a big heart, she deserves it.

"Whaddya want me to do, then?" he flails a hand around, exasperated.
"If you've got a better idea," he points her way as a frown settles along his features. "then ya might wanna enlighten me. Otherwise: knife!!"
Malia rolls her eyes as she looks at him and then looks down at the knife. it's in an awkward position, but she's adamant that he doesn't take it out. if you take the knife out of the wound, it'll cause problems, and she really didn't want that. so, carefully, she lifts a hand over his wound and the knife, closing her eyes.
"just stay still," she murmurs as she begins to mutter a few words under her breath; she's casting a spell to heal him. once she's done, and only then, does she yank the knife out of the wound.
