I’ve been with LP since the end of their first record cycle, so 2002 was my first show, somewhere around in January, and from the beginning these guys were different. They connect with their audience on a different level. Aside from the rock'n'roll fans and the music fans their music also touches a different type of fan. There’s a message in the music that’s meaningful, a type of human connection that is not just easy lyrics, they are difficult lyrics and a lot of our audience is born from fans who feel inspired or that the music is talking to them in a way that no one else does. And it’s been an incredible journey to watch these fans connect with the band and to watch the band connect with the fans and they mean it every night. They really mean it every night.
