after several text messages from the other it was easy for honey lemon to pick up on what a difficult day they were having. there was no way she could allow their day to continue to suck, so after finishing up the last of her online stores order’s she put all her things away and made sure to run her errands before their shift would end. she picked up snacks and junk food they may like as well as some self care items ranging from sheet masks, to destress lotions. feeling content with her load of items she packed it all up along with a home made pie she baked a day pervious honey lemon hurried to catch them as the were leaving work. “hey!” she greets a wide smile on her lips. “so i could totally tell your day seemed to blow, so i wanted to come cheer you up.” she offers showing the bag full of goodies. “i figured, i could either give it to you or i could come over and help you unwind.” she offers not wanting to press into their space in case they just wanted time to decompress alone.

finishing her shift at the library and anxious to get home, the heather admittedly jumped when she heard someone suddenly speak. dropping the key to the ground, the girl let out an audible groan as she bent down to pick it up — not forgetting to give the other person a snide look on her way up. " you know this place is closed for the night, right ? " she snarked, locking up the door and placing the key in her purse. " i don't need to unwind .... what i need is to quit this job and have a long deserved meltdown in peace. "

Setting the drink on the coaster, Mare offers a nod at the person who thanks her for the beverage as she turns back around and sets up a few things behind the counter before noticing someone nearby. “Hey! You just gonna lurk around or do you want me to get you something?” She questions, tossing a towel onto the bar as she wipes away any mess that previous customers had left behind, though it wasn’t all that surprising with how drunk they got at times.

" i'm not lurking. " the heather replied shortly, sitting down on one of the stools — manicured fingers tapping against the inked wood. " it's called observing your surroundings. Isaac wasn’t sure why he found himself at the club tonight, normally he would come with Emmett but tonight he was alone for some reason, it was almost kind of sad he saw this club in a different setting than he did when he was here with someone. He was sipping his drink and the other beside him at the bar was talking out the bar and he sighed softly “Not to sound so negative about it, but I didn’t even go to prom you know? And the ball just sounds like a fancier prom you know? And I already know I would be a shit date so I don’t even know if I should go just sounds like another way I could disappoint someone new as morbid as that sounds.” He sipped his drink laughing a bit “I should probably stop rambling about it huh sounds a little bit pathetic at this point don’t you think?”

life was happening for heather, and it was happening fast. suddenly shes not the hot shit she once thought of herself as .... someone who needed deserved to be feared yet praised just for simply existing. sure, she had taken up a job at the local library, but she needed the money — and that definietely wasn't was the only reason she had taken the job. someone like her didn't need to be in a centuries old building filled with sprinklings of dust floating in the air, and the smell of delicate, old worn pages wafting through her nostrils. getting off her shift, she found herself sitting at a club — a club that kept blaring what seemed like the same three songs over and over again, and sitting next to some kid that kept talking — and between that and the music, she couldn't tell what was worse. looking at him through the corner of her painted eye, she looked him up and down before scoffing. " and what do you want me to do about that ? " she inquired with a raised brow.
