Can I ask you guys a question? If I made a fan-art relating to Heathers Online, can I tag it with #heathersonline even though it's traditional art and I'm not part of the project? I don't know if you already answered this but now that the Heathers West End cast recreating is out will the cast if Heathers online be doing covers of you're welcome, never shut up again and I say no?

Most likely not no, the song load is pretty significant already and each song takes at least several months to finish visuals and all, so as it is we’re spending a few years just on Heathers, and we plan on moving onto other shows afterward- hopefully a show we can get the licensing to do a full online production of rather than just the songs.

We’re hoping to start up our livestreams again soon though, maybe in those we can have the cast cover the new songs!

#speaking as the director i personally feel that you're welcome is a weaker song than blue #and that never shut up again isn't enough of the much needed characterization for duke-#it kind of just repeats what little the musical has established about her already #so neither add enough to the show to warrant the extra months spent on heathers in my mind #Anonymous

Thanks for your input! A large project like this being done by a bunch of artists and voice actors volunteering their free time entirely for free and directed by one 20-year-old alone in between school and work, again entirely for free, takes a lot of time. Our cast and crew still are just as passionate as we were when we started and are still putting as much time and effort into it as we did when we began, unfortunately, that time and effort won’t be something you can see evidence of for a while because of the lengthy process.We’re working on something amazing for fans that you will have access to for free when it’s done, regardless of your level of interest. :)

Yep! We’re in the middle of animating songs right now, expect some small content to continue to be uploaded on our youtube and you can get updates and WIPs on our patreon!

Do you have an estimate for when the first song will be out. It just feels like we’ve been waiting a really long time.

Recording songs with a full chorus and animation takes a really long time when it’s being done for free in between people’s school and work schedules. Things have lulled a little bit due to the holidays but I’d say we still have another 2 months left of work.

Once we start posting though they’ll be on a quicker schedule because we’ve been working on multiple songs at once.
