Just the thought of food right now is off putting.” She would have some later when she felt better. “Harlow is in her play pen in the living room. There’s baby food in the cabinet for her and also there’s also a bottle in the fridge. Make sure she gets the bottle first, and it’s okay if she only has a few bites of the food.” 

“Okay, okay. Forgot you were a workaholic. My bad, doc,“ he replied jokingly, holding her tight as he took her to her bedroom. Why he knew the way it was something he now sober wasn’t proud of, but he wasn’t going to bring the topic back. “You should drink something though, preferably sugared. Got something like that or want tea?” He slowly pull the cover along the sheets so she could lay down. “Mm, you’re trusting me to know how hot the milk should be?” He asked with a small smile. “I’ll do my best to try not to burn Harlow’s tongue, don’t worry.”

“We’ll go one day, I know it. I definitely have to visit it again some time in my life so we’ll add it to the list,” he said with a sure nod and smile. “We’ll figure it out. We have loads of time to plan and one we get there we might change our minds anyway so it’s good to keep it balance, open. Maybe, honestly I dont know, I havent been on vacation in years so I could be speaking bullshit,” he joked and shrugged before he found himself blushing. “Uh, wasn’t a date..not sure if it’s a one night stand considering I’m definitely going to run into her again cause she’s..sort of my neighbor,” he said with a soft laugh. “Cecelia and I were hanging out the other night and well..one thing led to another,” he said with a blush still on his face as he rubbed the back of his neck. “I initiated it, actually. I was pretty proud of that. I don’t know, the sex was good and we get along really well so it’ll probably happen again, I mean I’m guessing, I dont want to assume anything, you know?”

“Sounds good to me. Maybe that could actually be a family vacation, it’s been years since we last went all together.“ He tried to remember the last time they had all traveled together, it had been a long time ago. “No, no, you’re right. You go there with a plan of cities or places you wanna visit, but then plans can change. You know locals have better recommendations, maybe even some obscure places that aren’t promoted as touristic spots.“ Heath was focused on the screen announcing the numbers when Noah spoke again, catching the word neighbor that made him turn his head at him, trying to keep his cool while he hoped Noah wouldn’t say Cecelia’s name, because he had also slept with her...of course it didn’t happen. “Oh...“ He cleared his throat, looking for words to say that wouldn’t give him away. How could this be happening? He still wasn’t sure which event occurred first, but why hadn’t she said anything about it? This was bad. “Congrats...wow, you took me by surprise here. I didn’t know you were interested in her, but I’m happy for you man. Have you, uh, talked to her about that?“
