Hey my dudes, kinda shitty but my work is developing this super cool habit of not paying me on time and not paying my the correct amount. It’s already caused me to be slammed with overdraft fees twice this summer and that super sucks…. It just happened again and I’m tired. I hate asking for donations but like if you’ve ever considered getting an embroidery from me now would be an amazing time to do so…. I don’t have a lot in my Etsy shop at the moment because he whole thing has got me feeling low key worthless but here are a few samples of past works I’ve done and I’m super open to commissions for original prices or remaking an old work if you see something here that you like. Uhh you can’t check more stuff at this tag too if you want. It’s not a huge deal its really fine. There are definitely better people to help out if you have the means, but Idk it just really feels rotten.

Helllllllloooo I have a prompt for the captive prince series, and I thought this would be cute. How about an AU where Damen runs a bakery and every morning at 5am, when he opens and preps for the shop, he comes across Laurent passing by to go into the convenience store a few blocks down. One day he was the courage to stop him. Hopefully curiosity doesn't kill the cat.

It’s the first chilly Monday after Anzac Day when the most attractive person that Damen has ever seen crosses his path at 4:55am on the dot. Damen actually walks past the door to his own bakery, has to retrace his steps, and takes three tries to fit the key in the lock, he’s so distracted by the memory of the flawless face and the shock of neat blond hair.

The next day, the man is there again. Damen manages to open the door on the second try, this time.

It becomes routine. Like clockwork. Damen walking one way down the street to open the bakery and turn on the ovens; the man walking the other way, a leather messenger bag slung over his shoulder, never making more than peremptory eye contact. The street traffic is thin, at that hour, and foot traffic even thinner. There’s not much in the way of natural dawn light, as the days get shorter, though the street is well-lit, orange streetlights spilling down an artificial glow.

Damen develops a furious curiosity about who the man is. He looks young; younger than Damen, early twenties at the very most. Is he a suicidally dedicated finance intern, on his way into the CBD? A shift worker? An early-morning gym goer?  (“A vampire?” says Nikandros sarcastically, not looking up from the plait of yellow brioche taking shape under his hands.)

Some nights damen will sit up in bed, and laurent will rest his head on his thigh while damen strokes his hair and they’ll talk for hours in that position.

Laurent usually tilts his head down when he’s laughing (giggling ty) but damen will tip his head up bc he likes to see how his eyes light up when he’s happy and how he flushes slightly.

Laurent has a sweet tooth OK!!, sometimes damen catches him eating some kind of snack and he offers damen a bite but damen smiles and shakes his head. Damen: I’d rather have a kiss. 

Imagine laurent sitting on damen’s lap, nuzzling into his neck and letting out the softest, most content sigh bc that’s his happy place.

Damen softly rubbing laurent’s lips with his finger pad and watching his eyes darken and how he gets all still and turned on.   

You can’t tell me that when they get married and exchange rings (or whatever they’re supposed to do i won’t judge) damen won’t grasp laurent’s hand randomly at times and look down at the ring on his finger with the most self-satisfied little grin (HE DID THAT) and kiss his palm.

My man damen can’t carry a single tune but sometimes laurent and him are swinging slowly as he sings some love song off-key quietly in his ear and laurent LIVES for it.

CUDDLES, they’re both soo into cuddling. Every morning damen unwraps his arms from around laurent and smiles when laurent lets out a drowsy protest.

Their banter consists of laurent commenting on damen’s size and damen replying that his cow lashes are bigger.

Laurent sleeps in damen’s shirt when they’re apart from each other and it hangs down to his thighs but it smells of damen and its comforting at night.

Also when they’re apart, they talk for hours on the phone at night. Damen: you’re about to fall asleep. We’ll talk tomorrow. Laurent: No, wait. I don’t want to hang up yet…

Laurent being affectionate towards damen and never ever being denied a kiss or a hug,,,, fuck me up!!!
