I'm trapped by Cheese in the Trap. HELP!!

I know it's been freaking 2 weeks since I finished watching Cheese in the Trap but guess what, I STILL CAN'T GET ENOUGH. 😍😍 I mean, that drama is so good that i can't help but to watch every episode over and over and have the same feeling like watching it the first time. Every character really did a great job portraying their roles. I totally fell in love with Seo Kang Joon and Park Hae Jin that I almost forgot that i'm not Hong Seol. Lol 😂 To be honest, i don't understand why most people don't like the drama's ending. I love it actually.. It may be an open ending for both Jung and Seol, but i find it realistic. Come on, great endings doesn't necessarily mean a cute lovey-dovey kissing scene but seeing how the characters evolved throughout the story, how they found their own paths and the happiness they deserve. I think Cheese in the Trap production team really did well in showing each of the characters' strengths and weaknesses and how they overcome it in the end. 👏👏 It's one of the best dramas i've ever watched literally got me trapped for about 2 weeks.. gosh, I didn't even experienced this when i watched DOTS. 😧 WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ME JUNG SUNBAE?!!!!! 😭😭😭😭 Lol. I don't even know why am i typing this. 😂😂

Cheese in the Trap - Yoo Jung

There’s a lot of debate around the male lead in this recent Korean drama, and as someone who hasn’t read the webtoon/manhwa, I’m just going to speak from my experience with the drama only. 1. “Evil”: Many have said that Jung’s character gives them the chills. He pulls strings and does things in secret behind people’s backs. But through Seol, we can see that Jung never does anything to hurt others for ‘no reason’. To others, his reasons may seem childish and small, but imagine being Jung for a second, and imagine growing up knowing that others only treat you well because you are useful to them. Being a model student who is rich, good looking, polite, and capable…there will naturally be a lot of people who want to leech off of you. I do however think his ways of ‘payback’ are extreme, and he is too obsessed with his idea of ‘justice’. 

2.. “Calculating”: Linked with the idea of evil intentions, is calculation. Innocent and kind people do not calculate. Innocent people often get hurt, but they would never hurt anyone. Here I have to say that I AM SICK OF THOSE CHARACTERS. More than a small majority of the adult world lives calculating others. It is, essentially, a method of self defense from those who are not kind and want something impure from you. In Jung’s mind, he’s just paying back what someone else has owed him. It’s the way he was brought up - if you do anything wrong you must take responsibility for it.

3. “Unempathetic”: I don’t think this is correct at all. In episode 5, Seol complains that Jung never listens to others and only cares about himself. While driving alone, Jung reflects upon Seol’s words and asks himself “am I weird?” But has he really done something wrong? Jung is definitely narcissistic, because he is privileged and he’s used to getting what he wants. Jung is not an angel, so he doesn’t like it when people take advantage of him without asking for his permission and understanding. Jung is childish, and doesn’t forgive easily. But Jung isn’t a psychopath. He is capable of feeling emotion, and that aspect of him was pretty much brought to light due to Seol. 4. “Odd affection/love”: Does Jung really like Seol? Or is he up to something? So many have questioned this, and as a drama-watcher I had my doubts too. Initially he didn’t like Seol, because she discovered his ‘secret’, thus holding a weakness against him. But after Seol showed him a little kindness, he pretty much went all out and gave his heart to her. Ultimately, Jung is still a child at heart. Give him a little pain, and he will hurt you back. Give him a little love, and he will love you back.

This is so much accourate 😍 Jung might be "weird" for some people but he's not a psycho. I think it's just his way of dealing with people esp those who take advantage of him. I don't blame him for that. I mean all of us has our own weird way of getting "revenge" right? ;) lol I still love him though.
