There may be suggestive themes sometimes, but nothing too explicit will ever be shown. Mostly implied things, simple kisses and maybe ruffled clothes, but I'm not comfortable showing any nudity (unless I somehow decide to make a beach episode, but even then there will only be fluff in that case).
In the case of gore and blood, I can't completely avoid never drawing or writing about it, there's hell after all. The same can be said for toxic/abusive behaviors, not everyone is gonna be a good guy, for example Valentino will need to stay the same to save Angel Dust from him.
So if any of these things make you uncomfortable or triggers you, I will put warnings in the posts so you can avoid them.
What is the HeavenBorn Devil AU?
To keep it short, it's basically a Time-travel kinda fix-it AU where Lucifer goes back to the moment of his creation, but because of ✨Daddy issues✨ he refuses God instantly and technically becomes the Devil much MUCH earlier, wich causes changes in everything.
Is it a Fic or a Comic?
A bit of both, I don't have the skill nor the time to make full comic pages so it's gonna be a mix of what I can draw plus the writing to go into the details I'm not able to draw.
Will it follow the Canon of the show?
Mostly no, I might take some elements/scenes/characters from Hazbin and biblical texts but they're all changed on purpose, the Canon timeline is basically dead.
Is there gonna be romantic ships?
Endgame Lucifer x Sera, I got endeared to it after seeing it in a fic sue me. Anyway there are gonna be one-sided/unrequired/side/past-ships (including with Lucifer) mixed in but some of the canon ships (Ex: Charlie/Vaggi, Fizz/Ozzie, Bee/Vortex, ecc) are gonna stay the same.
What's the schedule for the updates?
This AU is something I'm doing for fun and in my free time so expect a lack of frequent updates. I attend University so I'm probably going to update the most during holidays and vacations.
The Eye of Providence, an artifact of Heaven with the purpose of enabling the other angels in seeing God's creations, is currently being used as a projector to watch Lucifer in the abyss.
Eye's View - (Lucifer wandering, seemingly aimlessly, lost and confused)
Gabriel: "I know Uriel is gonna call me dumb but are we sure they're dangerous? I'm not even sure they fit in my hand you know? Like, they're unbelievably small."
Uriel: "You're right, you are dumb. Size isn't an accurate estimate of power, we don't their abilities." They slapped Gabriel in the back of the head, or their equivalent of it.
Gabriel: "Ack- Okay okay I got it chill." They took a step away from Uriel, just in case.
Jophiel: "They are so CUTE!!! AWW look at those strange little limbs, they look so squishy!!" They squealed, pratically the only one who found Lucifer cute currently.
Michael sighed heavily, absolutely done with their shenanigans.
Michael: "Can you all focus please? Raphael needs to take notes" They crossed their arms, staring intently at projection.
3 days later
Eye's View - (Lucifer tripped over a jagged piece of volcanic rock, hissing in pain, and immediately clutching his foot.
Lucifer: "Fucking ow! Son of a bitch! Ugh, where the hell is Pentagram city? Why is everything just.. rocks and nothingness? Did the Bellhop do a tacky redesign while I was out?!")
Azrael: "They speak a strange dialect." They mused curiously.
Raphael: "It could be a side-effect of the abyss influence or their incomplete creation."
Gabriel: "Okay, still doesn't seem evil to me yet to be honest."
14 days later
Eye's View - (Six small pitch-black wings flared out from Lucifer's back, crackling with unstable power. He looked at them with wide, panicked eyes before quickly tucking them back in, muttering to himself.
Lucifer: "Okay, okay, don't panic. don't. panic. Unstable magic? Cool. Random new body makeover? Great. Love that for me. Completely lost in the realm I spent millennia shaping and could fly in with my eyes closed? I just need to find a landmark. Literally anything that isn't a landscape of absolute despair.")
Michael: "They seem distressed. And remarkably uncoordinated."
Jophiel: "Oh poor thing, they must be so scared."
Raphael: "They don't seem capable of controlling the power they just emitted, it might not be safe moving them to Heaven for study."
25 days later
Eye's View - (While Lucifer speed-walked in search of Pentagram city, he didn't notice that the corrupt soil of the abyss didn't stay dead, but actively reacted to his presence. Small, weirdly shaped, but strangely cute demonic flowers sprouted in his footsteps, only to immediately burst into flames a second later.)
Jophiel: "So beautiful!! Look at them!!" They gasped excitedly, pointing at the flowers.
Azrael: "Welp, color me shocked." They stated, staring too.
Gabriel: "You are? You look as deadpan as ever to me." They turned to look at Azrael.
Azrael: "That's just my good looks, you wouldn't understand."
Gabriel: "HEY!!"
Uriel: "For Father's sake, can you all take this seriously!!"
Azrael: "My bad"
Gabriel: "Sorry Uriel :("

Eye's View - (Lucifer had apparently given up on walking entirely. He sat down on a boulder, pulled his knees to his chest, and buried his face in his arms, his small frame shaking slightly.
Lucifer: "I want my rubber ducks. I want my daughter. I just want to go home...")
Jophiel: "They sound incredibly sad. Michael, look at them. They're shivering."
Michael frowned, observing Lucifer's breakdown, their gaze softening in pity for just a fraction before their stoic expression returned.
Michael turned away from the Eye, their decision made. "I am going to speak with Father."
Lucifer's pov (Little before the 32's day mark)
Okay, scratch that. I'm definitely nowhere near Pentagram City. Or in ANY ring of Hell.
I rub my temples, feeling a massive migraine brewing behind my eyes. I've been walking for what feels like hours, and there is literally nothing here. No flashing obnoxious VoxTek billboards, no sound of destruction or suffering, and most importantly... no Hazbin Hotel.
"Charlie...?" I call out into the empty wasteland, my voice cracking, and wanting to curl up into a ball and evaporate.
No answer. Just the empty, hollow echo of my own pathetic voice bouncing off the primordial rocks.
Okay. Don't fall in a depressive spiral just yet Lucifer, let's try to recap.
I saw Father again after millennia of them being MIA. The meeting bringing up not so nice feelings and memories. I haven't seen them since.. well, before the Fall.
I look down at my hands. They're tiny. Like, even shorter than my usual height, my magic is a total dumpster fire, sparking with holy light one second and heavy demonic energy the next.
Then the completely empty, barren, unpopulated abyss where Hell should be. It almost reminds me of Hell before I gave it it's much needed makeover...
Suddenly, a horrible, sickening realization hits me right in the gut, making me freeze dead in my tracks.
"Oh you have got to be fucking kidding me," I whisper, staring out into the vast, endless darkness of a completely unformed Hell. "I didn't just survive by some miracle. I got sent back. To the literal beginning of creation."
I'm back before time even started. There's no Lilith. There's no Sins. There's no Charlie.
The thought of my daughter completely missing from existence sends a wave of pure grief through my chest. I breathe heavily, trying to stop myself from completely spiraling into a full-blown panic attack right here on the dirt. A dark, bitter laugh escapes my throat.
"Well, at least I don't have to deal with Heaven's hypocritical council" I mutter, wiping my face and forcing myself to stand back up on my shaky, short legs.
"But what am I supposed to do now? Just sit in a cave for a few millennia and wait for humanity to get created?!"

This post really didn't want to be written. It didn't help that I was writing it while doing exams.
I'm still not completely satisfied but at this point I'm tired of it so here you go, hope you like it.
Guess who found out today that Sera is canonically a lesbian? Me. (Yes, I know I'm late in finding this out, but I don't usually check merch because I never buy it)
At first I panicked, I felt guilty shipping Lucifer x Sera now that I know she's a lesbian. But I soon reassured myself that I'm doing an AU, I don't have to follow canon if I don't want to, and there's nothing wrong with it.

Here's Niffty!! The little bug lady (. ❛ ᴗ ❛.)
I don't have a lot to say about her design, honestly I just wanted to make her a pretty little work-outfit for the Redemption's center.
Niffty's sinner body is bug-like so I wanted her to look like a ladybug. Ladybugs are predators and their spots are to warn others not to eat them because they taste bad.
In Canon Charlie hates exterminations and tries to stop them, whats this Charlies opinion on them
She does hate the exterminations and wants to stop them like Canon Charlie, but unlike her she isn't able to do anything yet.
And this is stressful and frustrating for her.
The situation is a lot more personal to her than to Canon Charlie. She knows the people fighting in the exterminations, and has a connection to them, be it family, friends or ex-patients of the center and the idea of losing anyone scares her.
She also thinks the reason it all started is stupid, and she hates RoH for it.
How does extermination work in this AU? Like do they have a way to prevent killing reddemle souls or do they kill indiscriminately like in canon
Extermination is a name sinner's propaganda gave to Heaven just defending themselves.
It's not a purge, it's self-defense.
It's a Holy War started one-sidedly from the Ruler of Hell, and the sinners they convinced to fight Heaven.
Angels can't control who they kill in these battles, it's kill or be killed.
If a sinner capable of redemption chooses to fight instead of walking to the Blatant Big Glowing Mansion used for Redemption, then the possibility of getting killed in an extermination is just the consequences of their choice/actions, free will and all that you know?. It's unfortunate, but Lucifer can only guide and help people who wants it, instead of spoon-feeding redemption to people that aren't even interested.
Are Adam and Lute still the leaders of exterminations? Also personality wise are they different or still batshit crazy like in canon
Yes, Adam is still captain and Lute the second in command of the exorcists.
Personality wise, Adam got corrected a lot by Lucifer in the beginning of Eden, so he mellowed out, still developed a Sailor's mouth tho. For Lute, she's rude and a tsundere around people that are not her crush, she's less rage and bloodlust and more older sister vibe.
What type of personality does God has in your AU 🤔
Honestly, I only planned for God to be physically present/relevant for a bit at the start of the AU, and then be a background character that gets talked about sometimes but we don't ever see again.
So, with this in mind, I never planned much about their personality outside of what I needed them to do.
If I were to think about it now, I guess some adjectives to describe them would be:
• Lonely, isolates themselves.
• Social batterfly.
• God Complex.
• Cares about creations but nothing will ever be equal to them.
• Confident.
• Lacks Empathy.
• Compassioned.
• Kind.
• Cruel.
• Prideful.
• Humble.
• Temperamental.
• Calm.
• Creative but not emotional.
• Not exactly Logical but really intelligent.
• Chaotic Netrual, Good, Evil.
I don't know if this makes sense but when I think of God's personality I immagine it's full of contradictions and complexities, they encompass all traits ever created so it's difficult to pin down a personality, because they have all personalities. What you see in God depends on person to person, and you could say everyone is biased in their view. God is like a kaleidoscope of everything.
Whatever God does or how they act, good or evil doesn't matter for them, and they will never get consequenses for it, because nobody can do anything about it.
Do angels sometimes descent to hell for something, maybe for something personal or important
HeavenBorn Angels usually descend to Hell for business/professional reasons (usually with either RoH or Lucifer). If they're not sending an hologram in their place that is.
Of course there are exceptions that go in person and for personal reasons, like visits or hangs outs. Those are most likely Angels close to Lucifer and Charlie.
For human's souls turned Angels (Enlightned), they are usually banned from going to Hell. But can ask for permission to visit if they remain in netrual ground (Heaven's embassy and the Redemption's center) and have a supervisor for protection.
As for why an Enlightned would want to go to Hell? Well, it's obviously to see their family there.
Does Cain exist in this AU, also is Abel the same as in Canon
Yes, Cain exists.
About Abel, his characterization is still in the planning stages, so I can only give a vague answer. I think he's going to be similar to Canon to an extent, but with a few surprises.
What's Adams stance on redemption? Like does he approve or hates it like in canon 🤔
Something tells me that Eve is very much happy about it
They're both very happy about the possibility of saving their descendants.
Eve was the one feeling the most guilty for the apple incident and basically dooming humanity with the choice of evil. She was over the moon when she learned redemption worked.
Adam hated seeing his wife's self-loathing, and he hated himself for what happened with Cain and Abel. Redemption? He's all for it, it's saving his descendants and making his wife smile after all.
Curious, why didn’t Lucifer end with Lilith again in the new timeline. Knowing the future, wouldn’t having the knowledge prevent any fall? (The in-story reason, I understand from your set up is because it is a SeraxLucifer story)
Lucifer pretty much fell out of love with Lilith in the previous timeline. You could say it was a violent break-up. Lilith did some shit that Lucifer couldn't ignore or enable anymore that also made him finally break the rose-tinted glasses he wore for eons.
The shit Lilith did?
Summary (as short as I could make it): she controlled ancient beasts from a sealed and unstable part of Hell to make war to Heaven, Charlie doesn't agree with Lilith and Hell joins the war, Lucifer is kinda stuck between a rock and a hard place, Lucifer exploded like an angelic powered bomb (supernova basically) to save the survivors which created a temporal wormhole that took Luci's remains in the past, and God remade Luci unawarily.
All this backstory from the previous timeline is, you could say, the prequel. Of which I don't think I will work on because the rest of the AU is already expected to be pretty long. I can talk about it because I don't care about spoiling it.
In the new timeline Luci's feelings for Lily are complicated and in most of the Arcs he can't really make up his mind on what to do with her so he's stuck being really uncomfortable with her all the time.
About the fall, this is kind of a spoiler in itself, but Lucifer did try to prevent the fall, he only suceeded in preventing his fall tho. Some things are just meant to happen. Differently, but they happen anyway.
Ironically all of this was already thought about before I decided there would be the LucixSera ship. Lucifer still wouldn't be with Lilith, and wouldn't change the backstory/plot, even if I decided to make him stay single.
