Absent Muse // Sona & Draven

Sona made her way out of the Institute, her eyes fixed on the path ahead of her; she had hoped to find something different, something to preoccupy herself with as she wandered through the large grounds surrounding the Institute.

As she continued down the path, the Maven allowed her mind to wander. She thought about the previous concert that she had held and let out a dispirited sigh. She missed the spotlight and euphoria that filled the rooms that she performed in. Due to her lack of a muse, Sona had a difficult time constructing new material for her next recital.

The woods either side of the path seemed to be littered with small bugs and insects, each of them playing their own melody between the leaves. Her lips curled slightly as she came to a stand still. She would shut her eyes, her attention solely focused on the music that nature had provided for her; it gave her peace of mind.

A fervent melody softly echos throughout the halls of the Institute, a tune of its own magnificence that cannot be defined by mortal words. The meticulous strumming began with a steady and gentle tone before shifting into a Crescendo that only intensified by the minute before lulling to a placid cadence and gradually subsided into silence.

If one were curious enough to trail it back to its owner they would find the Maven of the Strings at the end of the path. She was alone and occupying one of the many empty chambers, attempting to compose a new series of melodies for her upcoming concert.

I'm back... sort of. Going to give roleplaying another try. I'm sorry I left without saying anything, there was a lot going on so at the time. Feeling a lot better so, I'm back in the meantime.
