@http-anti, Sorry if it’s a little wonky, English isn’t my first language
Chase took a deep breath, making sure to suck in from his stomach as he leaned back over his stool, looking over through the peek in his curtains since it was his only light source. He shifted through his poses as he heard his camera go off, holding his breath like he was underwater so he wouldn’t fuck up how photogenic his pictures were. He finally let out a breath when he heard his camera stop taking pictures, wrapping the cloth/toga thing around himself to cover up while he grabbed his camera to go through the shots. Now all he needed to do was a shit ton of candid photos of his bare ass and he’d be golden. Oh, the things you do to fill a portfolio.
“I’m a demon, peepin’ on a photoshoot is honestly extremely tame. I could’ve done much, much worse if I wanted to. But you amuse me,” he said, holding the camera back from Chase, out of his reach.
He let out a small giggle, tail swaying more rapidly as he grew more excited. This was fun! He truly did love messing with people.
“Maybe if you ask nicely an’ stop callin’ me names I’ll consider givin’ it back. I could’ve also just left it at the studio for someone else to find, y'know. An’ who knows what would’ve happened to your photos then,” he pointed out smugly, swatting Chase’s finger away from his chest. “Point that finger at me again an’ I just might bite it off. I don’t like bein’ touched without consent.”
The last part came out much more seriously, any amusement being wiped off his features and replaced with a borderline threatening expression.
“I would much prefer whatever those ‘worse’ things are than letting you see my bare ass without an invitation” Chase let out a vaguely furious sound and reached up at his camera. “Demon or not, you still don’t quite get a pass at me.” Chase got on his toes to further reach up. “No matter how much I ‘amuse you’”
He put on the most mocking of tones when he quoted Anti, getting rosier by the minute while he listened to this man and his dumb…reasons.
“How wonderfully ironic of you, consent? I thought you’d never heard of it.”
Chase lit up for no reason in particular, putting away his phone and stopping his reaching at his camera.
Bing plucked Chases camera out of Antis fingers and tucked it right up under his arm. “Can I help you, dude?” He fixed his sunglasses on his face, and Chase finagled his way around Anti to pretty much cling to him, hiding behind his bulk.
“I just want to go inside and get my camera fixed, do something please.” Chase held onto Bings shirt and furrowed his brows while he looked over to Anti, hoping he wasn’t blushing to come off as even vaguely threatening behind Bing.
“You have muscles, and I swear I’ll make you diner forever if you do anything right now, you’ll be my favorite roommate for forever, I fucking promise you, I’ll love you forever.”
Bing rolled his eyes and gently nudged Chase aside, handing him his camera “I’m just going to politely ask him to leave, I already heard anything and I’m not too into throwing hands”
Anti let out a huff of a chuckle as Chase claimed that he would take what was worse. He really had no idea what he would be asking for, since Anti was easily capable of hurting or killing someone like him.
When the camera was snatched from his hands, Anti simply let out a sigh and turned around, crossing his arms along his chest. He assessed the new person quickly with a small hum before snickering.
“I can hear you,” Anti stated matter-of-factly. His hearing was as good as a wolf’s, so to hear someone so close by was nothing. “An’ you can ask me to leave as much as you want, but that doesn’t guarantee that I won’t come back…. or that I won’t be watchin’ from the shadows. I could be there an’ you wouldn’t even know. But it’s nice to know you’re not lookin’ for a fight, ‘cause you’d lose.”
Bing nodded and put an arm around Chase to keep him close. “Listen, we’re not looking for any trouble, I know your m.o and all that, but-” Chase shut his camera off and stuffed his keys into his pocket, still rosy from the absurdity of his situation. Who did Ant think he was, anyway? Barging in on him like he was entitled to it. “I don’t care if you can hear us, the only way you’re ever getting this close to me again is if I drop dead at your feet, my photography is meant for me, my muses and paying clients only, not spoiled demons that-” Bing let out a wry laugh and tried to push Chase closer to their apartment, pinching him in the side to quiet him up. “I don’t doubt that one bit, but if you’ll excuse us, I’m going to take Chase inside now before he says something marginally more stupid and get’s the life sucked out of him…or whatever it is that you do, of course.”
“Spoiled demon, right,” Anti muttered, finding that to be a bit ironic. He was the farthest thing from spoiled. If anything, down in Hell, he was at the bottom of the food chain.
He remained calm as he listened, simply tilting his head a tad as Bing spoke. The slick black tail coming out of his lower back continued to sway languidly behind him.
“Life sucked out of him, huh? Man, you people really don’t know the first thing about demons…” Anti noticed, not really speaking to Bing but mainly just making the comment. “Sure, sure, go ahead an’ run off inside, but I can promise you that this isn’t the last you’ll hear from me. Oh, and you’re welcome for returning your camera, by the way.”
Anti wore a smug look, his sharper canines poking out a tad as he grinned.
Bing kept ushering Chase into the building as he muttered vague threats at Anti, still flustered to the high heavens. “Dude, come on, you have no chance of doing anything to him and you still only have a couple of hours left in that studio, right?” Chase scrunched up his nose again before he scoffed and turned tail to his apartment, sulking the whole way there. He made sure to give Anti only the finest of middle fingers while he headed inside, letting Bing inside before him for the sole purpose of slamming the door.
After their first encounter, Anti kept his eyes on Chase, remaining in the shadows and simply watching him. He let the other go about his life like nothing ever happened but eventually, he started to get curious about booking him for some pictures.
Of course, he had a feeling Chase would refuse, but he himself had claimed that he only did it this way. Anti figured he might as well do it. Not that he would do anythung with the pictures, but it would be for shits and giggles.
Chase, of course, didn’t believe Anti about lurking in the shadows, so he did in fact go on about his life. He went out, he finished his shoot, and he basically forgot about Anti. Their interaction was absolutely wild, but Chase was fresh out of college and he’d been thrown naked in the middle of the night as a frat induction. He’d be alright.
He of course didn’t know Antis name, so he went about his booking as usual, being polite as ever. He booked the studio and brought his things in, absolutely joyous. It’d been a while since he’d taken pictures of someone else, mainly because he wasn’t into putting himself too out there. Believe it or not but he was rather shy around others.
