They should have mattered from the start. Black lives should have always mattered, and they should matter now. They should matter forever. Don’t let your privilege blind you. This is now. This is happening. USE YOUR VOICE!

100+ black-owned wellness & beauty businesses to shop from instead
Quick note: This is the owner of the UK Lush company. The Lush US/North Americca company is NOT owned by the same man, and is more of a sister company with a different founder. The Lush NA company has issued multiple statements condemning the actions of police and is donating to a few different BLM movement related causes/charities. But yes, do start shopping at black-owned businesses and makers! Just don’t throw all of Lush under the bus to do so, especially since the US branch has always maintained a firm stance against police brutality and the unlawful killings of Black Americans. Fuck Lush UK though!
This is a call to anyone who has ever shopped or worked at lush!! My coworkers have put together a template of a statement that needs to be emailed by everyone to Lush head office. Stating that they need to do more for the Black Lives Matter movement.

‘Hi Mom and Dad, it’s me, Christine. It’s the name you gave me. It’s a good one. Dad, this is more for Mom. Hey, Mom, did you feel emotional the first time that you drove in Sacramento? I did and I wanted to tell you, but we weren’t really talking when it happened. All those bends I’ve known my whole life, and stores, and the whole thing. But I wanted to tell you I love you. Thank you, I’m… thank you.’
