Idiots in fandoms will see a man and a woman openly express romantic feelings for each other and be like "omg they're besties." while two men will look at each other for 5 seconds without even speaking to each other and hordes of fangirls will spam you with anon hate calling you a homophobe if you don't ship the two guys together.

Happy Pride Month!!!
This is going to be really long but I just have to get out how much I love the idea of this new Saw game.
Highkey I think the idea of someone trying to take up the mantle of being Jigsaw that they've been trying to do for a couple movies now makes a lot more sense when you set it far off in the future. Cause when Logan tried to be Jigsaw it felt odd partially because he had only been introduced in that movie and felt odd to have this guy we just met become the new Jigsaw but also because he was close enough to the original events of Saw (being the first 1-7 movies) that it didn't make sense that he would be "allowed" to do that I guess. Like how come he didn't get the Hoffman treatment? And similarly with William it just doesn't feel right to have a Jigsaw copycat period. But to set it so far in the future kinda dimishes that feeling because of course there's no more original apprentices around to stop someone from being a copycat but also on top of that it adds to the religious aspect the movies have been building throughout them. In the movies it was a small exclusive cult but I can easily see that expanding into a larger one as years pass and the stories become legends. And who is anyone to say that they are not worthy of continuing Jigsaw's legacy? They're just doing exactly what John Kramer was doing and trying to play Saint Peter I doubt there'd be any documentation of Jigsaw not liking copy cats. And that's why I can't even discredit Logan or William as characters because they're the footprint for this now they're the beginning. And I can't stop thinking about all the little stepping stones we've seen in the movies that could lead to a future cult. Like obviously there's all the police reports but Eleanor's replica's, Bobby Dagen's book AH I'm genuinely so fucking pumped for this game
We got Saw set 100 years in the future before GTA 6
If you make jokes about men suffering / dying frankly I do not want to hang out with you. You are not a feminist bestie that’s gender essentialism <3
the constant paradox online of not being allowed to dislike and be uncomfortable by "hating all men" jokes and attitudes. we're either told "it comes with the territory" or "it doesn't apply to you". so people either think we deserve the scrutiny just for our gender, despite the fact we are discriminated against based on our assigned gender. or we are treated like "men lite" or not acknowledged as our gender at all. because people would rather demonize masculinity to no end than consider their trans siblings in the community.
This is transandrophobia
i’m not gonna lie the erasure of transmasculinity everywhere i turn is really starting to get to me lads. multiple characters that are either gnc or outright trans in their source material are being hyper feminized in their television adaptations. a cis lesbian lgbt historian’s video comes across my path and in it she asserts clearly that stormé delevarie is a cis woman, the comments all agreeing on what a wonderful womanly woman she was, no one does it like women do. another video someone with nearly two million followers posts a video essentially saying trans men don’t experience discrimination compared to trans women. it gets tens of thousands of likes. a video of a cis woman in support of trans people next, all the comments talking about how trans women must be women because they are oppressed like women are, i wonder what that makes me to them. two trans men dead this last month. another two trans men with their teeth broken from hate crime assault this week. one of them in a trans sanctuary state, in broad daylight, screaming out for help and everyone around him looks away. looking away. everybody is looking away. we are the thing in the corner of their eye that they would rather not see and what crime did we commit to be treated this way? are we truly seen as so pitifully grotesque for our harmless aberration from the female sex that it feels natural to pretend we are not there? that we were never there? i’m terrified. i’m terrified by what is going to happen to us in the silence. i wish i wasn’t.
I saw the TADC finale yesterday cried like 3 separate times during the whole thing which made me feel crazy cause I feel like no one else did but GODDD. I'm very VERY satisfied with the ending I'll just say that
Shout everyone else taking the vow of silence today
