At times, people desire indulgence and for others to entertain them, simply because theyâre either unable or unwilling to do the deed themselves. And while Roman was generally independent in every other aspect of his life, this was one thing he found in common with the masses below him. A side-effect of his lust for the finer things in life, he supposed. Not everything could come directly from him; after all, he was only human, and not some fictional wizard.
Such was why he, the head of CRMSN Enterprises, found himself at an otherwise non-descript nightclub in the entertainment district, indulging in one of lifeâs greatest vices - women. Alcohol would surely follow, that much was certain, but for now he would simply relax and enjoy the sights. And what sights they were, particularly this dancer they referred to as âthe Snake Princessâ. Truly a sight for weary eyes, to be sure, and Roman wanted to indulge a little more.
ăBarkeep, another glass of your finest whiskey.ăRomanâs order seemed to catch the bartender off guard, but he ultimately was obliged as he leaned back in his stool. When the show ended, he would very much like to talk business with the woman⊠and perhaps pleasure as well. Provided she could hold his interest past her dancing, that is. Â
Perhaps taking a little longer to perfect the canvas with shades of red upon lips, gentle strokes following along cheeks was something that surely would make her have a slightly later start, but Hancock wasnât about to let herself go up on the stage she had grown to know as something of a second home to her looking anything less than her best -- and the fact that she had gotten a heads up from the one in charge that someone important was going to be there that night may have influenced her careful precision of ensuring that everything was perfect as well.Â
Though, she was the headliner for tonight, and those that had come out to see her surely were willing to wait just a little longer, this she had come to know from several nights of experience. Eyes scanned over the crowd as hips swayed, gentle movements as bangles that hung from cropped blouse slammed into each other with a small, resonating sound nearly inaudible over the music that played in the background which acted as her metronome. Eyes landed on one man in particular, one that didnât seem to be in low standing judging by his style and the keptness of his entire persona. Was this the man that had been mentioned before?Â
She made certain to keep that in mind, and thus eyes locked upon him for slightly longer than others, sending him looks that screamed bedroom eyes, cheekbones being tugged upwards indicating a smirk hidden behind the hand in front of lips, ensuring to still pay adequate attention to the others in the crowd. After all, they were there for her as well, and if all went well, private dances and extra pocket money would be in order after the show. Line of vision redirected back to the man she had originally spotted, quick glance at the bartender that placed a glass in front of him, and if she had to go out on a limb, judging by the color of what was in the container, sheâd say it wasnât cheap liquor.Â
Thoughts had been keeping her lost within, and the music had begun to come to a close, thus giving her time for a big finish, something she always went for, back bending and arm going in front of her, landing on a pose she had found that crowds seemed to favor, sending them off with a final wink and holding as the lights went down, leaving her to head to the back to exit the stage, and perhaps rendezvous with customers. Perhaps one in particular, if this was who she believed it to be. He looked familiar enough, and if her suspicions were correct, he was most definitely someone that she wanted to at least try and charm to get him to drop a few extra bucks her way.Â
