        “No, not really.” A brow raises, and cerulean hues roll dramatically. He’s had about enough of the idiots in this town, and he was stupid to think that perhaps a Hale of his age would be more intoxicating than this.         “Well, I met your brother, and your          uncle, and I’m really disappointed.          All the stories I grew up hearing           about the great and powerful Hales,          burnt alive in their home for no reason,           and I’m just, not feeling that with you.          Disappointed still? All that she manages to give him now is a raised eyebrow and pursed lips, mulling over his statement. Again, what he says resonates with her, considering she came back to Beacon Hills because of rumors of a new alpha with a powerful pack, and this is what she ends up finding.

     "So why is it that you actually        care if us great and powerful        Hales are really what our        reputation calls us for? Sounds        to me like you're a little bit more        butt hurt over about this more than        we are. What's your deal?"

However, true to her roots, she's still pretty proud of her brother and what he's done for the town.

Boyd chuckles and looks at her in amusement “What? I do not get stupid on you Cora come on now, since when?” He asked before nodding his head lightly. “Yeah I was waiting on you because of that and I also missed my favorite Hale, why? What kind of vibe are you getting off me?”

     "Your favorite Hale? Pft, you're        just buttering me up because        I gave you toast."

Inwardly, she's proud of that small fact, considering that she's one of the youngest in her family and often just brushed away because she's been in South America for so long.

     "Maybe I should go rub that in       Derek's face.  Give a puppy       food and they'll adore you forever."

And she's just staring at the girl in front of her, astonished by the innocence of her answer more than anything else before her brow furrows.
