god bless detroit red wings. they saw a shameless money grab and said No Thanks. its the kind of jersey that says “realizing they had 10 minutes left to submit, our design team uploaded a corrupted file in a desperate bid for time.” 

seeing it next to the unchanged nyi jersey makes it even funnier. new york islanders changed hex codes and called it a day. detroit didn’t even phone that much in. original six team and couldn’t find retro jersey to reference. fucking brilliant god bless you all.
