teddy lupin: hufflepuff

always cheerful and ever colorful, teddy has happily taken up the mantle of big brother to not just his godfather’s children, but to the rest of the weasley clan as well. the boys adore playing with him, and most of the girls have daydreamed about him at one point or the other, and by the time he leaves hogwarts, he is as indispensable to the clan as grandma molly’s cookies. that doesn’t mean he always feels like he fits in — though he’s capable of putting up a loud and friendly facade, teddy isn’t quite the quintessential weasley. if given the chance, he’s far more soft-spoken than he seems, and the death of his parents haunts him more than he lets on in front of the kids. though popular among his peers, mostly for his metamorphagus talents, those he considers true friends are few and far in between. he’s always hesitant to let people close, even if he doesn’t seem outwardly guarded, because he fears they like him for someone he’s not. after hogwarts, he leaves to travel the world for a few years in an effort to discover himself, and, upon his return to england, settles down into the quiet, married life filled only with people he truly loves that he has always craved.

victoire weasley: gryffindor

as beautiful as she is brilliant, victoire is the apple of her father’s eye. having inherited not only good looks from her parents, but also their bravery and intelligence, she was a fierce hatstall between gryffindor and ravenclaw. ultimately, she ended up in gryffindor due to her penchant for doing crazy things on impulsive whims. as much as she enjoys the popularity that comes with her lineage and beauty, she is just as comfortable reading in solitude as she is as the center of attention at a party. in fact, after leaving hogwarts, she declined the jobs she was offered and went to study art history and english literature at a muggle university in america, followed by graduate school in france to expand her horizons. more artsy than ditzy, despite what her classmates believed, she opens up a little bookstore cafe in the english countryside with her own paintings hanging on the walls and lives happily away from the media spotlight once she finishes school.

"I -- ugh, you're impossible. Why didn't you tell me you had a boyfriend?"

"Why does it matter? You didn't bother to tell me that you invited your girlfriend along on our trip to the amusement park."

"That -- that's different! I at least told you I had a girlfriend!"

"So? Are you jealous or something?"

"No!"

"Then we're done here, aren't we?"

"...Fine. Have fun with your boyfriend."

"No, seriously, if you don't shut up, I'm going to smack you with a tree branch."

"So, how long ago was this crush? A day? Two? Maybe even a week?"

"Oh, my God, it was three years ago, now shut up!"

"Do you still?"

"Do I still what?"

"Have a crush on me."

"...I thought I told you to shut up."

"Wait, your mum seriously thought you were pregnant?"

"Yeah, something about how I was wearing a looser dress than usual. I don't even know."

"Vic, as much as I love you, your mum's a piece of work."

"I know, my God...but y'know, a baby wouldn't be so bad one day."

"I mean -- later, of course. Not now. We're far too young."

"Yeah, it...I mean, you're right. It'd be nice. I've always wanted kids."

"Me, too. But in the future, of course. We've got jobs to worry about right now."

"Right. Also, maybe you should tell your mother that just because we live together doesn't mean we're having sex twenty-four seven."

"...Teddy, sweetheart, I would, but she'd never believe me."

"Oh."

"I can't. And she's staring back, anyway."

"She has a boyfriend."

"I just...I don't know, okay? Leave me alone."

"Y - yeah, Dom, I'm fine. I...I just haven't seen him in years."

"Well, he did just get back from traveling around the world."

"Sure, after breaking my heart."

"Maybe you should talk to him."
