So like... Sonic Boom the cartoon takes place after Rise of Lyric/Shattered Crystal right? So how do you suppose Knuckles reacted after Rise of Lyric when first got home? Was he like... super protective of Sonic?
I like the idea of Knuckles being protective of Sonic after he was almost killed by Lyric. He would probably put himself in all kinds of danger just to make sure Sonic was safe, and Sonic would be really worried about him.
Sonic's first meeting with Knuckles on both Sonic Boom and Shadow Boom?
My headcanon for Sonic Boom is that Sonic and Tails found Knuckles abandoned on Angel Island and brought him to the village. As for Shadow Boom, I actually wrote a fic about it: https://archiveofourown.org/works/14369775
Sonic goes on a run a bit further out than usual because he was feeling that vibe all Sonic's have to go explore and enda up not only lost, but trips over a root and badly sprains his ankle. Also no communicator because it's out of range. How does Knuckles react?
