I haven't done much drawing recently, but here are some that I have completed. Watercolour and ink based on cracks and cracked pavements.
Some of the initial drawings for a new collection based on cracked pavements. I'm thinking of colouring these in, but I also like the simplicity of them like this. I graduated on Tuesday! It made me happy but I'm also really scared, especially as I have nothing to force me to do work. I must motivate myself!
I had to look after the final graduate show today and so I did some drawing in the quiet periods.
I've been trying to sort out my work for the final show. I wanted it to be neater and more symmetrical, but my tutors seem to want it all layered and in collections.
I've finally finished my notebooks for selling at the final show! These are pamplet bound with printed covers.
Some suggested designs from Vistaprint.
Some of my fabrics put into context. I prefer them smaller as they are too simple if on a large scale.
This has lots of different types of work, but I like the tablets encapsulated in the resin. They are very simple, but effective.

Bruce Riley is a talented Chicago-based artist who creates beautifully psychedelic paintings of poured paint and dripping resin. His artworks contain a blinding myriad of details and structures that form surreal creatures or psychedelic mandalas.
Renowned for her large-scale aerial abstract works in ink, resin and acrylic, Melbourne based artist Megan Weston has been turning heads with her richly layered works on canvas, inspired in part by ae
Large scale work is so inspiring! I don't like working large, but these pieces of work make me want to try.
This is an archival print of my original pen & ink drawing, mounted on birch panel and coated with a thick layer of clear glossy resin. The resin gives
I really like the detail and colours in this, and it is also to to remind me that I should try coating paper with resin.

This is great use of colour!
Although I don’t think this is resin, it is something that I could try. I love how it makes the painting look three dimensional and how it stands out so much.
I really love these, especially the bright colours and how well they contrast with the transparent background. I also like how large they are and how bold they would be if displayed as wall art. Although I have finished my work for this term, it would be very fun to try working on a scale like these. Hopefully,I can find a large silicon mound to try making resin pieces in.
Some close up shots of my resin. It is still overcast, but thankfully there was enough light to take these. I really like them layered up and think they look best like that, just because of how interesting the contrasting layers look together.
I thought that I should take photographs of my books as well, so I have photos of all my work. It's really surprising to see them all together like this as I hadn't realised how many different colours and techniques I had used.
