You can’t expect people to do for you all that you would do for them. That doesn’t make them bad people or mean that they don’t care.. they’re just different. You have learned to be the way you are through your life’s experiences and so have others. Their experiences have been different, so they will treat you according to what they’ve learned. This doesn’t justify ill treatment on anyone’s part but the fact that your efforts aren’t reciprocated shouldn’t stop you from doing your part to bring light into the world. Keep doing.
