Can we please talk about the amount of hate heeseung gets from this fandom??? It’s actually insane and I’m sick of it. Actually sick of it.
I have seen numerous posts bullying him about his blonde hair and how he “looks so washed out” and “his hair looks so fried”. Not to mention everyone telling him he needs to stop dying his hair. It’s his hair??? Hes explained before why he dyes it, it helps him express himself and he doesn’t like being in one stage for a long period of time.
Then there was all the stuff about him with his red hair. Yeah some of the jokes were funny until they got actually blatantly disrespectful. It gets to a certain point, and there are certain jokes that are reserved for people you’re actually friends with. A little reminder that we aren’t actually friends with enhypen.
Just a few minutes ago I saw a post making fun of the little “uh” he does when he sings Loose. He was literally just trying to interact with the crowd, and his voice broke a little instead of coming out like it normally does. All of the comments were “ew that gave me the ick.” Or “hes my bias but hes so cringe sometimes.” Are you fucking kidding me? Obviously he’s not your bias and you’re not a real fan if you’re just going to put him down like that, do you really think that’s okay?
Like at this point do y’all just hate Heeseung or something? Cause actually what is going on and why is he getting a literal hate train for everything he does? It started after Coachella and just hasn’t stopped.
I saw a post making fun of the way he sings in their cover of imagine dragons. I saw several posts making fun of him when all he was trying to do was hype of the crowd because the crowd was dead. I’m not trying to be sensitive and I know some people are going to read this and think “is she serious?” Well yes. I am serious. Because this is insane.
I enjoy a good laugh and a good joke but there is a difference between a joking and bullying. Do y’all really think he doesn’t see what his fans post about him online? Think about how you would feel if you were in his shoes. If every little tiny thing you were doing was being criticized and you got made fun of by people who claim to be your fan and love you. If his confidence starts to go down, and he looses his outgoing personality I don’t wanna hear any “omg what happened 🥺” you know damn well what happened.
I know not all engenes do this, and from my experience it’s mainly TikTok and Twitter engenes. I did see a lot of engenes standing up for him, and thank you to everyone who does.
Please stop hating on this poor man for everything he does. Hes worked extremely hard to get where he is, he does so much for his fans when he doesn’t have to. He works hard to make sure the concerts are fun for us and he works hard to give us good content and music. He doesn’t deserve it. Jokes are fine, but these aren’t jokes. They’re rude and it’s just straight up bullying. I’m sure there is stuff like this about the other members, and it’s not okay. You can’t call yourself an engene when you’re deliberately putting down the members every chance you get. It doesn’t work like that.
