@heeraasmani
why can't it ever be enough? it's not enough.
being a work in progress is so tough
all roads lead you back to yourself, to the standards you ignored, the boundaries you softened, the intuition you doubted. life keeps repeating lessons until you finally listen and become a better version of yourself..
can you miss a life you haven't ever lived? a family you were never a part of? a college you never went to? a home you never lived in? a time you never experienced? a feeling you never felt?
why do i keep finding the best of Tumblr on Pinterest?
And like the moon, we must go through phases of emptiness to feel full again.
kitne bhi gaane sunn loon, i keep coming back to prem ki leela kare tu kahe mann mora mohe saawari hogayi mai baawari hogayi mai ang ang se gunje rang se dheere se dheere se kanha re teri main
sometimes, the only way is through. it might feel wrong, it might feel scary, but it is the only way.
the goddess watches me,
as i waste away like my potential,
slowly, but surely.
she closes her eyes,
as i open mine,
salty, brown and white.
she sees me trying,
nods her head,
eggs me to move forward.
she touches me,
barely, just my forehead,
is she blessing or consoling?
the goddess watches me,
before i realize,
i'm sitting in front of a mirror.
The intimacy is when someone understands the walls you built for your own protection and approaches them with patience instead of pressure
the world starts and stops at money.
i no longer respect the hustle i want universal basic income and dignity for everyone
the issue with growing up in the 2000s and 2010s was like there was this really big push toward "accepting your weirdness" overall but they meant like idk wearing mismatched socks or something not being tangibly beyond the norm in any way shape or form
im tired of being the "good kid." sometimes it feels like it's better to be the troublesome one if it means actually getting to live the way you want without giving up on anything. after all, being the "good kid" means nothing because you're still not good enough and there's a better kid out there somewhere.
