yeah. i'm still alive. i know, i'm surprised too.
so idk about the rest of you guys, but for me animal crossing is a game i play in waves. you know, for a month or so i play constantly, and then i don't touch it for a few months. so when school started back in the fall i sort of forgot to play for a while...and then i was scared to pick it up because i didn't want to see how many of my babies had moved, etc.
WELL. since the beginning of 2014 i've been playing pretty consistently. surprisingly, narnia has not fallen apart, so that's nice. c:
here's what you missed: i now have a near-perfect town consisting of julian, diana, bluebear, sprinkle, fang, wolfgang, poppy, and others. all of these i found either in my campsite or they just waltzed right into town of their own accord. (minus poppy; i did get her through tumblr before i went all ded.)
except...i forgot to play for like 2 weeks.
i let antonio move away before those 2 weeks began, because i loved him but he'd been in narnia since the beginning and the jock i really want is rudy. well, i didn't think to make sure a neighbor i approved of moved in, so after a day or so, spork set up shop.

then a few days later, i went to disneyland with the boyfriend, and of course i brought my DS with me to get streetpasses. you know that like 10% chance or whatever of someone's neighbor moving into your town if you connect with them for the first time since they moved away from the other person's town? (that made no sense but i'm sure you know what i mean hopefully) yeah that happened. so.

yesterday i finally thought to play again. and what letter do i find in my mailbox? DIANA'S GOODBYE LETTER. AND NOT EVEN A PICTURE OF HER EITHER.
now i have 2 peppy villagers, 3 cranky villagers, 2 lazy villagers, and no jocks or snooty villagers. D: so unbalanced. do not want.
on a happier note, i missed you guys and i'm glad to be back~
