i decided to make a sideblog for my subtitling projects. iâm kicking it off with the exclusive episode 12.5 of osomatsu san season 4. the episode is indeed just a recap of previous episodes, so i only translated the relevant bits that havenât been seen yet. first of all, it has been confirmed 100% that osomatsu san had to be toned down amidst complaints that it was too excessive. in other words, classic characters like âcompletely naked manâ will not be making a reappearance :,(
second, i hope everyone can appreciate that this season was rather unprecedented and did not turn out the way it was supposed to.
finally, âbeauty to ugly transformationâ. what does that mean? this phrase and âcompilationâ are pronounced the same way, but read differently. i believe it refers to the seriesâ perceived decline in quality.
