thinking about how Vigilante comes to investigate just days after his brother has died. they either had close enough contact that Neighbour not calling from his new phone for a few days was immediately alarming (neighbour seems to keep in touch with his big family). but also Little girl, Neighbour's daughter, doesn't know her uncle so were the brothers actually not close? was Neighbour keeping her away from her crazy gunman uncle? was he keeping away himself?

and if they weren't close, then what does it mean that as soon as the world started ending, Vigilante came to see what happened of his brother!! when he says he doesn't even know why he came here, I believe that! But he traveled here in haste through visitors and crazed scary people and fema and boiling sun! he curses his brother for not keeping his "family" (acutally, himself) alive and I believe that he is angry at the Neighbour for dying but I don't believe he doesn't care!!

I have a headcanon that there’s a paternity test in Pierre’s secret stash that he hasn’t opened. He took the test, but when the results came back, he just couldn’t bring himself to look at them because he felt guilty. Because if he really is Abigail’s father, that means he has trust issues. And if he isn’t, he won’t be able to stop being a father to her; he won’t be able to simply forget how he cared for Abby for all this years. In either case, Pierre won’t be happy with the outcome of his momentary folly. Even if this question continues to torment him for years, it’s better that he never finds out the answer.

(Was looking through some of the asks I've been keeping (mostly compliments that I extremely appreciate <3) and remembered about this one. I think I never ended up explaining why I draw Per'kele without his pinkies, which is kinda funny since that means I was never questioned about it. Everyone just accept it, I love that ahah. I'm in a bit of a writing mood today so here goes nothing:

The thing of him having only four fingers started from my interpretation of his boss battle sprite. At first I thought about making it a birth defect (such small things like extra or less fingers aren’t seen much in designs and I find them very interesting) but then I started thinking about it more and decided that having him cutting them off of his own volition would’ve been more fitting.

Cutting off the pinkies especially opens up some chances at symbolism with the “pinky promise” which, if I remember correctly- originally meant “finger cutting” or “cut off finger”. What happened after one broke a pinky swear changes from version to version- but, following the name, I’d say one of the first version was that their finger should’ve been cut off as punishment.

Either he cut them off whilst he was engraving Rher’s sigils onto his hands (oh my, an headcanon for an headcanon, incredible) , act that could mean both “I promise to only serve you and I make so I can no longer physically promise myself to any other god” or the equivalent of crossing your fingers behind your back “I’m making a promise but this all a farce” ; or he cut them off the moment he turned to follow the Sulfur God, a blood and flesh offering and a way to symbolically sever his other “contract”.
