Hi!!! Thank you for the kind words and your question! The Red Man concept could've had a nice potential I think, though I like much more the idea of Mona and Bill just being sole crazy partners in crime without the intervention of mystical and paranormal theme. It could've been better if it hadn't ended on that episode we've got but had a continuation instead, since it gave more questions than answers. For example who was mainly behind the rituals, why'd they summon the red man, explanation of the principals of how does the machine even work.

So summing up I wouldn't say that I liked how the story turned out pretty much, because my main passion and reason why I felt scared when I watched it once I was younger was that it felt like it could've happen in real life, there are thousands of true crime stories that are really bizarre irl, and the addition of some demon that ruled a woman as a vessel just ruined this interpretation yk. But I don't mind it, because on the other hand, these questions make the whole story more interesting to think of, you want answers and you try to supplement the story with your own ideas

Don't worry, I don't find your question disrespectful in any way! I'm a cis female, but I wouldn't say that my appearance is androgynous in reality, lol. It probably looks like that bc of my attempts to repeat the characters' features in a cosplay, since Mona has rather androgynous features I'll take that as a proof of my work well done in its implementation. :))
